Sometimes it's battery in remote control need replacement. Tried that?
If there's a lot of wear and tear, i suggest buy own part and bring to shop for replacement. They'll charge you more for parts if you use theirs because they need to provide you warranty. I got quite a lot of wear and tear to replace this round so i checked with my workshop is that ok i bring my own parts. They're ok with it and will charge workmanship accordingly. Do check with their consent just to keep hard feelings away.

There's a lot of ok brand of aftermarket parts but no brand has it all. But you always can check with your local spare part shop because they won't keep poor quality parts as they need to offer warranty. One thing i never understood is why original proton parts don't comes with warranty.

One thing you need to beware is those parts that requires skilled installer to install, for example timing belt set. These type of parts is very difficult to pin point whose fault when claiming warranty; where the workshop might blame you for bringing poor quality part and spare part shop blames your mechanic don't know how to install and damage the item. For this i suggest just let the workshop earn the mark up.

Then need to check for wiring shorts, or simply failed beeper. If not mistaken it's located near wiper motor under engine bay hood. Near firewall of front passenger side.

More importantly, get the original tensioner. Price is about RM300. Aftermarket are no good.

If door or boot didn't close properly it'll be like this. Can check at shop is it door switch or your alarm system problem.

One thing i notice for Persona is if battery going out soon, alarm system will be the first one to show sign by having all unexpected problem. Do check on your battery-alternator system if the battery has never been changed for past 2 years.
