I changed boot since the shop okay with it. It takes more time though. If rushing I'd opt for change entire drive shaft.
Do let us know the long term review of your brake pads.
last time repair, i was charged RM80 but the drive shaft was beyond saving at that point. end up replace it anyway. new part is RM200, labor probably RM30 or 50.
i ordered new part on shopee already. this time buy Lucas brand. The workshop I frequent rarely do a one day job.
really bad luck la one thing after another decided to went bad. looking at the tie rod end, also starting to see cracks on the rubber boot.
but on the bright side, the temperature gauge on the meter suddenly works properly now. that's one thing off the list.
i'm going to take the car for a night drive later to test the brakes..
