QUOTE(ben_ang @ Apr 29 2019, 07:30 PM) unfortunately tried all of the option, nothing works.. so thats abt it.. Which model you have? I think the possibility is what you see seeing is "auto frame rate switching"? It makes the video smooth and no more juddering. Its much smoother than my old dumb TV 60Hz.maybe its a low budget model, so.. yeah.. disappointed.. Mine Is UA6800X, this model has no motion smoothing feature. As for audio out of sync, don't useHDMI ARC (which is terrible), and can be mostly resolve with optical out to your HT/soundbar. When watxhing using TV speaker, no issue at all. You sure its not your video source that is the problem? |

QUOTE(yukwei @ May 2 2019, 11:34 AM) 43s6800. no dead pixel & no issue so far. Netflix & YouTube in full HD so good. the only drawback I dunno how to sideload play store / any other apk. wish I can install YouTube kids for my kids to watch, for now they have to settle with the normal YouTube. from my observations, it's way more faster & responsive than entry level sony/samsung/hisense/sharp/Toshiba smart TV. and other brands entry level normally only have YouTube only but not Netflix. my main purpose is to watch Netflix in HD only. so IT does achieves my expectation. |

QUOTE(puchongite @ May 6 2019, 09:37 AM) Can you please do one analysis for us, how much TCL TV is cheaper compared to an equivalent model from the well known brand ? i just bought basic 32" TCL for my homestay with DVBT2 tuner for RM495 incl shipping, after reading positive reviews. that's the cheapest i found with that spec. the next up is 600++.& i am impressed with the color & sound quality. even better than my 32" basic samsung (4 yrs old though). not bad at all. now hoping that it will last long |

I think 32" TCL is not in the radar of most people these days. And from your analysis it is about RM100 difference. Which isn't much to make it worth the risk of trying a brand which has no office in Malaysia. & i am impressed with the color & sound quality. even better than my 32" basic samsung (4 yrs old though). not bad at all. now hoping that it will last long Maybe analyse a 55" inch TV. |

QUOTE(MeToo @ Aug 8 2019, 04:55 PM) Um no worries. Soap opera effect can be disabled. These TVs are fine as you can see in other threads. I use it for PS4 & PC. Just don't expect it to perform like expensive TVs. |

TCL announces 8-series TVs, 8K, and Mini-LED
https://vidnews.org/2019/08/15/tcl-announce...k-and-mini-led/ This is a big announcement, QUOTE TCL’s new top-of-the-line TV is the 8-Series, which comes in two 4K sizes: The $1,999 65-inch 65Q825, and the $2,999 75-inch 75Q825. They’ll both go on sale later this fall. With a “bezel-less” design that has a tiny frame width on three sides, the 8-Series supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision. It also uses QLED technology — not the first TCL TV to do so, but it is the first QLED TCL model to be sold in North America.
1000 local dimming zones ! But too bad, US market only. |
