Anyone knows which shop I can cash and carry for tcl 55 inch in klang Valley area? Except Singer shops. Their prices are more expensive.

I tried contacting those lazada sellers but they aren't responsive at all.

Hi
I have just bought a 55inch TCL P8S.
Does anyone else have it?
Mind sharing the picture quality settings to test it out?

Yes, i bought it from Lazada TCL Official Shop, it was somehow being sent by SenHeng Electrical Shop boys.
That would be better instead of getting the regular GDex or FedEx boys to send it.
The electrical shop boys would know how to handle it.

So far, the Movie mode is the most accurate calibrated picture that comes default with the TV.

if PQ is your concern, chooses direct led and VA panel

in most of the case, they provide better PQ

I bought it during 7.7 with RM300 off, which comes to be RM2529 which is the cheapest i can find for this model.
The panel is a VA panel, so although viewing angles are not great like IPS panel, it is definitely ok if you watch it directly in front of it.

I am still trying to get to the calibrated settings and i am currently using the default Movie mode in there and the PQ is great.
No issue watching bluray or astro or even HDR content.

When streaming HDR content from Youtube, there is a pop up on the top left of the screen that tells you that you are playing HDR content.
It being a Android TV, what i do is to install a file management software and stream movies from my google drive.

The in-built media player can play 2160p, 10/12bit mkv files as well.
It could not handle BS-ISO or BDMV folders btw.

It has Dolby Audio as well which does not come for TVs at this price range.
In built memory is around 10GB which gives you about 4 - 5GB of extra storage for you to install your needed apps.

For all astro users, you all will have access to HBO GO app as well, which is what i have installed too, but i think HBO GO only streams at HD (720p) which is being up-scaled to 4k, where you shall notice a little lack of quality there.

NOTE: I am not related to TCL anyhow...just sharing my experience with the newly bought TV.

P8S is the latest. I wanted to buy P8M but didnt got the chance to do it as it was out of stock everywhere except for online....after a while, this P8S pops up.
According to their website, the P8S has these over P8M. HDR10+, a bezel-less design, Wide colour gamut and Dolby Audio
