https://www.dontworryjusttravel.com/asiapac...0-baht-atm-fee/

How to withdraw money in Thailand and more than 20’000 Thai Baht per transaction?
Use these banks1

Thai Military Bank: Maximum withdrawal limit 30’000 THB

CIMB Bank: Maximum withdrawal limit 30’000 THB

top up rm500 with  mbb VS barcelona done

why you wait for very last day of the month?
they might not giving you CB this month and will calculate on next month if the time frame too short for them to calculate...

To get 10% but for June spending.
*
but i don't think they will calculate the 10% CB for May but only 2% CB on June if the posted date is in June although the transaction is still in May 31.
I have the same case happen on Amex with transaction on last day of previous month and not able to get the CB but getting it on current month instead.
It's better that he request to change the statement date to 20th and swipe it just after statement date but still get the CB on current month on next statement date instead of risking it on the very last day of the month.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 1 2019, 09:15 AM)
That's the trick. If posted today, we only need to spend RM 500 for RM 50 instead of 2500 for RM 50. Check out MBB VS thread.
*
but the problem is the CB unable to calculate on May but in June instead, and the RM1000 will become RM20 CB instead of RM100...

We tried it last August n was successful in getting 10%.
*
so u means you tried RM1000 on 31 Aug and spend another RM2500 on any day on Sep and get RM100 + RM50 credit on 30 Sep?

No!  Spent RM500 on 31/8/18 (but posted on 1/9/18) and zero spending in Sept 2018. Received RM50 Sept CB quota on 1/10/18.
*
QUOTE(MGM @ Jun 1 2019, 09:47 PM)
Well said ClarenceT, and also rm100 for rm1000 spend on the rest of August b4 ~11.30pm 31August.
*
so means spend RM1000 from August 31 and get CB on 30 Sep and forever get the CB one month late?
i rather spend on 21st after statement date on 20th of each month and get CB ahead of next statement.

It's not that bad actually. 2.3k to BP & 200 Petrol, you will still get 60 which is 2.4%
*
if you spend more than RM320/month on petrol, can apply for Affinbank BHP, got 10% CB on weekend.
so just need to hit RM28 CB for RM1500 topup and another RM320++ on petrol can easily get more than what JOP offer after 1st July.

QUOTE(zenquix @ Jun 7 2019, 10:48 PM)
if you are working in Singapore, I recommend you open an account with both CIMB SG and CIMB MY. Via CIMB Clicks Singapore you can transfer from your CIMB Singapore account to your CIMB Malaysia account at very good rates (even better than Midvalley). Just don't make it your main account due to poor ATM coverage island-wide.
Ugh and I just got the card this month.

The RM30 cap online spending, as mentioned by others, is really not much of an issue. Just move RM200 spending to autobills and petrol and you can max out the RM60 cashback loading RM2300 to bigpay (until they declare quasi cash as non earning like Singapore).

The hurt is really the RM85 -> RM60 cap and  non auto-waiver of AF. If AF is not waiveable, you are basically burning close to 5 months of max cashback for AF + SST
*
don't worry about the AF, previously before BP come into picture SC always waive my AF even though i seldom use the card or totally no use at all
just remember to call to waive when they charge it

who said RM14?
it is capped at RM30/month, not 50% of the total cap of each tier

:lol no wonder you guys insist is RM14, because mistakenly thought RM1500 cb is RM15, due to RM28 capped, it become RM14 sweat.gif thats seems logically correct from your point of view...

but good news is RM1500 10% is RM150  sweat.gif it is still a good card to reload to bp with reduce cash back capped and removed AF waiver

get ambank true visa for RM30 CB for RM1000 topup
anyway i have lost RM57/month...

I tried to put BP on TnG e wallet auto reload and it can be added. Will try to reload when below RM20.
*
BP is grey out for auto reload and it clearly stated Amex and debit card unable to perform auto reload.

hi tan_aniki,

0.3% unlimited means?

lets say RM1000 = 30, RM3000 = RM90 Cashback?
*
QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 13 2019, 02:01 PM)
0.3% not 3%... So RM 1000 is only RM 3 cash back..

QUOTE(ThorWP @ Jun 13 2019, 02:02 PM)
Since your calculator might be broken, allow me to assist in this matter.

1,000 x 0.003 = RM3,
3,000 x 0.003 = RM9,
10,000 x 0.003 = RM30

yep

mdr % rate applies to any amount

so, setting min spending is probably to protect their margin from mdr.
