I think since they implement max 10k cc reload, hence rational user will not withdraw more than 10k per month from atm in most case, therefore, 10k should be consider adequate figure for them
*

[/quote]

RM10k/month in average, but max RM20k in a month (opening balance RM10k, topup RM10k, closing balance RM0). brows.gif

Should be ok la....big pay wanna do big must think big.

And they should launch their merchant e wallet payment solution as soon as possible, I think big pay have great chance to gain market share, at least compare to other local e wallet.

I used BP at Giant Spore this morning. Exchange rate is about the same as in Xe app. Another thing that surprised me was the card self approved the payment like paywave when it was inserted into the card slot. No need pin authentication. Spent amount was  about Sg 15 dollars.
Anyone had this same experience?
*
Yes, I spend 100 sgd also no need pin

I use ios and android anyway biggrin.gif

Not a big fan for Huawei but then it's out of topic soon, bro.

Hahaha..

Ya I know, just because above mention Samsung pay, which i think will die out from the market eventually as it must be use with a Samsung device which it not the mainstream locally, visa paywave still the way to go.

hmm pretty sure bigpay can go bankrupt without involving airasia though

big pay is a holding division of airasia berg as, so, no impact at all? Regarding market confidence with airasia share price?

The thing is... We only ever hear about the "problems". In percentages, the amount of failed top ups we experience is ridiculously low in comparison to the amount of transactions we have. Doesn't mean that it's normal or that we're not working to make sure they never happen at all... Our goal is for our users to have a seamless experience all the time. But there are many reasons why a top up could fail, including some that aren't necessarily in our control. All in all, I agree with you though: we need to be better. Just trying to provide some insights smile.gif

Yes, overall I am very satisfy and confidence with bigpay, now at most of the place that do not accept Amex, I will only pay with big pay, keep it up!

But pls, add Amex as an option for cc top up, thanks

I agree that if not sustainable,  bank will tarik the Cashback as shown by maybank with their amex. But because they tarik the Cashback,  lots of people stop using the card,  they stop earning money.

With Malaysian poor financial management, I believe they still can untung from late payment interest charges:)

Their technical team should do lots of pilot test before started the whole thing at the first place.

And this is unacceptable that they still encounters whole lots simple problems like the topup missed while card charged after commencing operation for months!!

This problem should be solved during the pilot test before the whole thing gone live.

This is dealing with CASH, so they should take extra precaution.

And so far i only encounter same case once in other apps.
That is myTNB apps, card charged but apps didn't capture the transaction, around 12am.
Surprise to see the next morning 9am, they had automatically record the transaction and call me at around 10am to reconfirm this issue has been resolved.

We are not asking BigPay to match service quality of MNC, but at least match our bolehland TNB, boleh?
*
Tnb is rubbish if u really encounter some issue, I closed mine acc and their system said balance transferred, but I never receive anything and I tried follow up with them several time but still end up nth.

For big pay, they defitenaly can do more than that, airasia is no.1 low cost carrier in the world

A bit of adjustment. Even that rm60 top up didnt qualify any cb or rewards points. But at least it contribute 1 Big point equvalent to Rm 0.01 cent in value. So his cost of insurance is RM 0.11 instead. tongue.gif
*
Haha, anyway big point really carry little value, so the most important feature is still cc top up and good fx rate.

Seems like... Boost is potentially blocking BigPay as a top up source. Which is a bit of a low blow, but that's fine. You guys can complain directly to them smile.gif Meanwhile, I'll see if we can add Boost as a top-up source for BigPay haha.
*
If that’s the case then time to boycourt boast

It's cost for them la. When you reload RM1k to them from BigPay they pay 1+% on that amount. Then you withdraw they pay a bit more for the transfer, and they only earn RM2 from you, loss-making.
*
Means boast are not fit to compete in this industry.

Isn't it obvious? They want you to use Boost and not BigPay. Want to steal marketshare
They rather you keep money inside with them as if you withdraw,  they lose a source of interest free money they can tap.
Steal market share,  be the dominant ewallet player. He who wins the ewallet war wins big. Tencent and Alipay are 2 good eg.
They are burning cash now as per all start up. It was in the paper few days back that airasia sold something to finance BigPay and their other side projects.

Just like uber and grab initially. Give out free vouchers/rides.  After get market share, they start charging here and there, reducing amount of freebies.
*
The market of e wallet still have some time to consolidate, so st least one to two more years they will continue to burn money for market share.
