QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Aug 10 2018, 02:54 PM) I just want to share my case with you guys to be vigilant about BigPay (I have also escalated the issue to Jonathan). How about total up every top up from beginning to latest and then minus out those purchase/expenses/transfer?It started on 15th July where my girlfriend noticed that RM60 was missing in her BigPay account without trace. It didn't show any transactions in the app nor in the Excel sheet. She spoke to the BigPay CS and behold, they showed her their transaction records that RM60 was deduced. The problem is, she didn't and there was no trace on it from user side. Further enquiry, she was told by BigPay that it was transferred to me. Even a bigger problem, there was no record that I received the money. In my opinion, you guys should be careful with this BigPay and make sure you have your own records as well, otherwise money will disappear without trace. I won't be surprised that merchants or friends don't receive money after this although it shows in their record that you did. Issues here is: 1. Money was transferred out without permission. 2. Money transferred out was not recorded. 3. So called money transferred was not received by the other person. Awaiting the feedback as we speak because after 3 weeks, my patience has run out. It'll probably escalated to Bank Negara Malaysia and business fraud division of the police. Hope this issue can be settled without temporarily shutting down BigPay. See whether recon or not to the up to date balance? I always keep track and download the excel monthly to do reconcile |

QUOTE(Tigerr @ Aug 11 2018, 12:53 PM) On average...it is 1 pay on time n earn the rebate n 1 didnt pay up n pay 18%. Bank still make good profits with this ratio. Give out average 1% or lesser but earn up to 18% interest. Yea, some ppl just lazy in learning small “saving”Many card holders are not aware how to maximize cb. Like yesterday i share the Bigpay card to my aunty. She said dont waste time on this small rebates Some of my colleague said too complicated -.- This post has been edited by TongCN: Aug 11 2018, 02:37 PM |

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Aug 14 2018, 03:58 PM) [attachmentid=9971575] Bro, did you ask them check their system on your account statement whether their is incoming transfer from your gf?Issue 1: Money disappeared without trace. On 15th July, my gf's BP balance was RM10.70. She subsequently topped up RM80 on 15th and noticed that the balance was RM30.70 instead of RM90.70. Knowing that BP is buggy, she gave BP some time to rectify and decided to topup another RM10 on 16th to check it out. On 16th, after the topup, the balance was RM40.70 instead of RM100.70. Subsequent transaction, sent RM30 to me on 31st July. So it should be RM10.70 + RM80 + RM10 - RM30 = RM70.70. But as you can see in the screenshot below, the total left was only RM10.70 instead of RM70.70, meaning RM60 disappeared into thin air. *do note that BP CS has been contacted since the error. [attachmentid=9971577] Issue 2: Money was transferred out without permission and without record on user side. And so like any other person, she contacted BP CS, and after ping pong few times, BP sent a statement of their record showing 'Currency Conversion Debit Transaction' of RM60 out on 15th July, and on further questioning, this currency conversion debit transaction was actually transferred to me (not really sure why transfer is named as such). However, despite insisting that NOT making any transfer, BP CS insisted that their record showed that money was transferred out and not their problem. [attachmentid=9971580] Issue 3: So called money transferred did not appear in my account. As you can see, there was no transaction into my BP on 15th July. I am one of the early BP adopters and have been using it without any problems. In fact, I only brought this case up because it happened to my gf and she has been giving BP way too long to rectify this problem. At point of writing, BP still hasn't call me to give a proper explanation and to rectify their problem. Based on Jonathan, they probably gonna send me my GF statement showing RM60 has been transferred out, and my statement showing RM60 transferred to me. However, they failed to understand, my gf did not make such transaction and therefore BP made an unauthorised transaction (it didn't even appear on the app). You all be the judge. |
