so basically you will turn on the "auto-hold" for the whole journey until you arrived and stop your engine? So i assume the auto hold will not bring any harm to the car as the working mechanism  doesn't same like "hand break", am i right?

Lol, his android true interface thingy. Strangely i can't find any info regarding it anywhere in the internet. It's like he invented all by himself. There isn't any tutorials out there that turn your mazda infotainment system into a smart phone, at least that's what i know la. Heard it requires installation of some kinda hardware.

Have to see how it works. He says no wire tapping/cutting so should be plug and play interface. Looking at the video, the interface is actually a "sub"-interface running behind the MZD system. So since it is not "overriding" the MZD system, it should not void warranty, maybe? I'm tempted to give it a try coz it seems quite convenient esp if using navigation like Waze. Android Auto is quite restrictive in its functions so this interface is a welcome alternative/replacement.

Perhaps I agree with the "cheaper price" suggestion coz I heard its close to RM2k if not mistaken.

You are welcome and yup, it just acts as your "regular' brake hold system and not the handbrake. So it's safe to leave on and drive around.. I've gotten quite used to it and it's a very useful.
Yeah.. i figured the same too. Definitely some additional hardware involved.. IMO, at worst, one should only lose warranty for the HU? Thing is, the HU is connected to so many other things and if Mazda does decide to link it's usage to something else spoiling? They can deny one's warranty claim.. I'm not willing to lose mine.
Thanks for the clarification..Personally, I'd probably just wait till I can replace the entire HU with a proper system and a larger screen that spans almost the entire slot. Current screen size could have been larger.. Damn bezels.

In fact our sifu here skeith did the same. He changed to the colored display for his 2.0 GLS. I knew another person who did the same for his gen 1 CX5 as well. It's not easy sourcing for the instrument cluster and it's not cheap as well.

Wa the censors is not cheap. Not mistaken u have to chance the front logo emblem as well. A lot of work.

Guys, i need your help. I encounter an hit and run for my cx5.

Went to their body and paint center in glenmarie and they quote me rm3800 to replace the tailgate panel and till now I'm still shocked with the quatation.

Since I've asked them to quote me, will they leave a record in the system? I afraid that if i repair it outside then they will void my warranty since i asked them to quote but never repair by them.

I listen to podcasts almost every single drive..Radio mostly for news and or certain talk shows.. I play said podcasts from the phone's Bluetooth connection. So Bluetooth is almost always on.. Similarly, portable hotspot is on too. Cuz I use a cd slot phone mount and a dedicated phone for nav. Bluetooth stays on even when I leave the car, cuz I like the feature that I return, crank the engine and the car immediately connects and resumes playback from last stopped location. So you can see.. 3 SIM cards receiving network, Bluetooth ON, Portable Hot Spot ON.. all sending and receiving at once.. Key fob works. Worked all 6 times I had to unlock the car earlier today. Don't matter if key is sandwiched between leg and phone or not.. I walk up, push the button and get in.. Walk away, it auto-locks (if all locking parameters are met).

Seeing as you are the only one complaining about a problem that doesn't exist AND you don't even own the car yet.. Other verified owners don't report the issues you report.. Somehow, you rationalize that I'm the inconclusive one and cuz it works for me, doesn't mean it works for others.. Bruh.. At least, get the car first, drive it on a daily basis before making such sweeping remarks. 

Huh? I thought our scbs only work when speed lower than 31 km/h....Mazda website also stated 4-30km/h...

I thought 4-30 was for Petrol GLS version while 80> is for Diesel?
So it is official that 80> is for all GLS variants for the CX5?

Tiong before, it sounded, but will it brake for us? 

I always want to try that by putting empty boxes and drive 80km/h to ram them.
