Is that normal to wait 2 weeks claim approval if you are claiming at Mazda dealer SC?

I recently felt my aircond blow hot air although with 25c temp, complaint this at Mazda Sg Buloh and they mentioned they will claim a new cooling coil with HQ. But have to wait 2 weeks for HQ approval and it is 50/50. Mean the claim still can get rejected.

i think 2 weeks is a reasonable waiting time.

the representatives in the centre will always give you "not there, not here" kind of reply eventhough the know for sure the claim can come true - all to avoid the possibilities of customers grabbing them by the neck.

if you haven't done anything silly to the car, fat chance that your claim will come through.

I see, I haven't done anything silly to my car other than changed the silly Skytint at FWS and double tint the rest 😅.

Just want to know if this will be the same when we claim at Bermaz Mazda SC?

It depends on individual.

Some feel paying 3k to get the premium color is not a big deal. But for me I feel not worth paying extra just because of a color, furthermore last time Mazda charge only 2k for a premium color.
Same goes to coating, i also feel not worth.
If you get a premium color and coating together , you need to spend 5-6k extra.

I also did not even spend 5-6k to do treatment or premium facial on myself so that i could look more handsome & younger, y i need to pay that $$ for my car to look better than I.  biggrin.gif
Just my 2 sense.
*
Same goes to me 😁, for time being I will just spend on the FWS tint and dashcam.

Btw, I just replaced FWS with insurance claim (Coverage is 3k). Hit by a stone after 3 months got the car. Normal to topup RM350 if you are changing your tint from a local brand, Hamel to 3M Crystalline? 😅

You guys will regret not getting PPF. I already regret now. Go take a close up look at your car after a few months, sure to get lot of stone chips. Mine had over 10 stone chips in 2 months my wife's had over 20 stone chips in 8 months. Dunno we collected  how many more since my coating guy counted them out for me 4 months ago. I have touched up at least 4 or 5 chips last month. Really no eye see! Mazda paint is thin and fragile.
*
Yup, just stone chips just after few weeks collected the car. rolleyes.gif

I'm encountered the same issue and found out about it after 2 days collected my car, I didn't realize it on the day when I do inspection when collect the car due to the light. Complaint this to Mazda, they said this is a secondary defect and rejected my claim. And they also mentioned I didn't highlight it the Vehicle Delivery Order (VDO) form. Lucky my SA good enough that he will replace it for me on the next 10k km service.

Currently I'm having second known issue and still pending Mazda Japan feedback. When you set your aircon to 25c with or without sync mode, the passenger side will blow hot air. Workaround is to set it to 23c but then sometime the air blow not strong enough although I have set the fan last maximum 2.

Huh? Need to pay 50% every round if kaput <2 yrs?
i chat with SC when replacing the battery and they said is 1-1 replacement...but during initial complaint, according to their SOP they will try charge the battery first to validate whether is battery problem or car/user fault.
*
Initial complaint within 1 year or 20k mileage, that the initial battery warranty.

Hi guys,

Will be taking my new CX-5 Machine Gray this coming Tues at Penang. I've done some reading on this thread and joined CX-5 FB groups. Just want to get your opinion on the things to check when taking the new car:

- scratches on the speedometer
- passenger aircond without sync mode (check if its blowing hot air)
- tyre manufacture date (need to check the brand? if yes, what brand you guys got for your CX-5)
- power windows
- reverse cam
- electronic boot
- electronic chair
- wiper
- side mirrors
- USB ports (front and back)
- booklets provided (owner's manual, service booklet, mazda cust service, navigation system manual) - anything else missing here?
- and of course the usual visual appearance of the car (paint job, scratches, etc)

Feel free to add if I missed out anything smile.gif

Hi need some advice,

I was supposed to trade in my myvi for the CX5, however due to the bad price I decided not to sell it. However the bank loan approved. Now I've been driving the car for few days and suddenly my sales agent asked me to sign the Bill Of Sale. To indicate that I already sold off the car to their company. Purpose is to lie? To the bank?

I'm afraid if I do so ill be in trouble in the future.

Anyway advise ?

Thank you

How about the CX5 price? Does it include the Myvi selling price?

Is it luck?

I also read a lot of stories about i-Stop will affect on battery lifespan. When i-Stop is enabled, some said their battery lifespan is short but some even proven that their battery lifespan last 2 years plus. One of them is my friend owned a 2.5, battery last 2 years plus with i-Stop always enable.

Btw, I always disable i-Stop. smile.gif

Hi, I owned a KF 2019 Diesel variant. So far so good, but my mileage only 7k at the moment. Last year when I am surveying about it as well, saw around 6 or 7 posts in FB group about the issue. Most of it said their cars is KF 2017 version and normally it happened after >100KM mileage.

It was a hot topic in Thailand and Taiwan.

I just keep reading the Facebook post comment after I posted here and found out at least 6 persons got this. Most of them just after the warranty. Now I'm really scared of the future if purchased.
*
Not mistaken, the issue has been tweaked in latest variant. But if the issue make you worry, then there is 2.5T as another option if you want to enjoy the power. brows.gif

There is no need to put PPF unless you have the budget.

As for tint, just look for a decent to double tint side and rear to make it darker follow JPJ compliance or not, up to you. But front tint need to be replaced.

Clear debt is always a good thing rather than always in debt, plus you will receive some discount when you pay your loan in one lum sump or pay your monthly in advance.

Investment is up to you, it is always a personal choice. There is good and bad.

For me, I rather clear my debt rather go invest on 50/50.

If we know about the future investment or have the modal earlier, all of us maybe drive Ferrari or Porsche.

Happy Chinese New Year or Happy Holiday, cheers guys.
