i think 2 weeks is a reasonable waiting time.

the representatives in the centre will always give you "not there, not here" kind of reply eventhough the know for sure the claim can come true - all to avoid the possibilities of customers grabbing them by the neck.

if you haven't done anything silly to the car, fat chance that your claim will come through.

It depends on individual.

Some feel paying 3k to get the premium color is not a big deal. But for me I feel not worth paying extra just because of a color, furthermore last time Mazda charge only 2k for a premium color.
Same goes to coating, i also feel not worth.
If you get a premium color and coating together , you need to spend 5-6k extra.

I also did not even spend 5-6k to do treatment or premium facial on myself so that i could look more handsome & younger, y i need to pay that $$ for my car to look better than I.

You guys will regret not getting PPF. I already regret now. Go take a close up look at your car after a few months, sure to get lot of stone chips. Mine had over 10 stone chips in 2 months my wife's had over 20 stone chips in 8 months. Dunno we collected  how many more since my coating guy counted them out for me 4 months ago. I have touched up at least 4 or 5 chips last month. Really no eye see! Mazda paint is thin and fragile.

Initial torque is very good but it looses when it go high end.
where as petrol torque comes later at higher ROM

Hi Guys, if collected the new car and found out that the meter screen significant scratch like this possible to complain to the car dealer or Bermaz? can ask them to fix this?

i chat with SC when replacing the battery and they said is 1-1 replacement...but during initial complaint, according to their SOP they will try charge the battery first to validate whether is battery problem or car/user fault.

Will be taking my new CX-5 Machine Gray this coming Tues at Penang. I've done some reading on this thread and joined CX-5 FB groups. Just want to get your opinion on the things to check when taking the new car:

- scratches on the speedometer
- passenger aircond without sync mode (check if its blowing hot air)
- tyre manufacture date (need to check the brand? if yes, what brand you guys got for your CX-5)
- power windows
- reverse cam
- electronic boot
- electronic chair
- wiper
- side mirrors
- USB ports (front and back)
- booklets provided (owner's manual, service booklet, mazda cust service, navigation system manual) - anything else missing here?
- and of course the usual visual appearance of the car (paint job, scratches, etc)

Feel free to add if I missed out anything

I was supposed to trade in my myvi for the CX5, however due to the bad price I decided not to sell it. However the bank loan approved. Now I've been driving the car for few days and suddenly my sales agent asked me to sign the Bill Of Sale. To indicate that I already sold off the car to their company. Purpose is to lie? To the bank?

I'm afraid if I do so ill be in trouble in the future.

I just keep reading the Facebook post comment after I posted here and found out at least 6 persons got this. Most of them just after the warranty. Now I'm really scared of the future if purchased.
