If you buy from taobao China, you need to use agent for sure, although i have several good agents to be selected.

Found this AC88U for RMB 716 YUAN on taobao app (but when I searched using web, no results, had to "add to cart" in app, then open my cart on web), seems pretty cheap, but no original ASUS box... Stock import from US though, what's the differences??

You can try too, anyway actually I did search through the taobao website and notice that US version is far more cheaper than China version. So sad they do not ship out from China. I think it is the same thing but just for the US version is selling cheaper than their China version. For Malaysian, we only can buy the China version from tmall. I guess it's all the same thing, just the US version is excluded tax but the China version is included tax (China customs).

Just received my router. Bought from Lazada seller which is out of stock now. Configuration is straight forward. Make sure you update the latest firmware FIRST before configuring anything to avoid any issues. Learnt this the hard way. Working flawlessly now. Getting full 500mbps on 5ghz wifi on phone.

Anybody using WiFi for their desktop? What are your current solutions to maximize the 500mbps/800mbps?

China prices very funny one. All kind of offers still can get very good profit.

seems it is a good deal. dont know performance how.

But after doing some research about US router, it raise quite a lot of questions, wifi channels limitation, region and bootloader (don't know what it is) locked, regional regulations, max tx power... Now I'm not even sure about China's official Asus router.... Does China version locked their bootloader??

Damn, trying to do some research and looked for answers about buying routers outside their own region, instead of answers, now I'm getting more and more questions!!!! :confused: :confused: :confused:

The sellers got specify out that items is used/refurbished items. They are selling depends on the condition of that items. If 90% like new, they will selling for higher price if 70% condition then selling cheaper.

Last time, I was bought a cheap used AMD R7 370 (R9 370) for CNY354. In Malaysia here, I can only buy a cheap used GTX 750 Ti in this price range.
