Start Putty, then login 192.168.1.1 as telnet mode and leave port as 23

Now type this,
nvram set territory_code=AP/01
nvram=commit

Now login your router through browser and check for the change
Some of the proof:
as you know, China was blocked Google play.

before that, only got English and Chinese Simplified

The wifi region is no longer showing China as default region.

What's the main benefits to switch the region version?? I mean it's not the same with Txpower in wifi region, right? I thought asus can switch wifi region without switching the whole router into different region...
Or you have to do this to get access to google play?? It's just seem like trouble to just get more than 2 languages for the UI...

I would say AC86u is better

Even the RMerlin aka Merlin firmware developer recommend AC86U over AC88U

If you put in local address, it's available all year long.

So, can't buy it during 11/11 then... I asked their CS, they told me was my acc problem, checked with new acc still the same...

like i said in previous post, you need a local china address first.

or you just try to choose send to a fake china address.

Above already mentioned put local address. Why u still put Malaysia address? It doesn't direct ship out from China.
