how does it work ?

i have a Huawei WS880, but i cant seem to reach 300mbps on wifi.

any particular settings that i need to look into?

Is this standard procedure (detained by China customs)? Or I need to apply refund or something?

Seldom happened unless illegal stuff. Usually u can't get back refund but no harm to try.

Since I'm posting on this forum so it's an ASUS router, it's Blue Cave I bought during 12/12..... Contacted Dex-I, waiting for response.... So many people here bought router from Taobao, why am I the only one got detained??!!!! Damn sienz.......

Wait for couple of days. It may just normal checking and not really "detained" as you think.

no worries, my item is same batch as urs and same status, mine is not router but clothing.

Just wait probably this batch of clearance has illegal item in it

What device are you using when you do the speedtest?

Try this:
Set the Wireless Mode to N/AC Mixed
Set the Channel Bandwidth to 80 MHz

if you buy RT-AC86U should be no problem but yours is blue cave. The China customs will process scan your item with x-ray. Since the shape of this router is looking like a bluetooth speaker. They are doubtful about inside is containing battery.
It is quite dangerous to ship out items with weird shapes. Usually RT-AC86U is safe to ship by dex-i because it shape is look like a common router.

Normal procedure should be showing the status as Customs Cleared, then you need to wait 2 days for the item arrive to Malaysia customs for clearance process.

God damn.... finger crossed for my shipment... Hope they cleared it after the inspection, or check the sender details, since ASUS didn't manufacture/sold speaker products.....
I use every website I can find for tracking, all same results... Already sent email to DEX-I to follow up too... Need to find a way to contact this 西马直送仓...
