You mean hbo live channel?

Astrogo live channels have that issue.... some worse than others.

VOD is ok, no problem.


Not sure if it was the same with old astrogo app but with new astrogo app, i am pleased to find lot of vod movies and tv shows even when i do not hv movies package.

HBO tv series all there, incl recent titles like Chernobyl, Warrior, True Detective, GOT.

HD, with eng subs too. Nice!

i meant in the hbo go app, the live channel section

that means the same problem in both hbo go and astrogo - for boxes.

mobile devices are OK, i'm quite sure.

If not mistaken, live channel in HBO Go M depends on webview too, ie it is probably streamed using webview object instead of using native player.

With the latest version, live channel and the movies we can search on our own to play are missing the "subtitle" option. Any suggestions?

Live don't have only. On demand should have

Astro go definitely need mouse.. I uninstall it as lag as hell like mibox.. I seldom watch astro.. even the account belongs to my in laws.. so I dont bother much about astrogo..

The one that I shared in earlier post.. yes, it is for Malaysia.. once you installed, there's on the screen showing you a code and also qr code..

you need to open browser (use handphone easisest way) and go to hbogoasia.com/#activate over there you will see option sign in with your operator, and you can click on the Astro Go icon.. login with your AOTG ID, then enter the code as displayed on ur tv

I downloaded the HBO app, it seems to be a typical android TV app, it is not really a linux app per se.

Can you subscribe to it by itself ? I thought you can only get it via AstroGo and nothing else ?

is it normal live channel never turn hd on android box? only live channel. vod working great. test on 2 android box tx6 and qplus

How do you know if a video is playing in HD or non-HD ?

They all appears the same to me. By the way I am using HBO ATV version.

Anyone know why some on demand cannot be play on the live tv section? Meaning the play button doesn't appear on some movies

Latest version is 1.0.60
Updated 22 April according to Playstore.

you just on vpn to Hong Kong and than open your google play at ur ATV or android box. install hbo go android tv version. this version you can used ur remote control.
