i think the contractor will clean it after installed the kitchen cabinet, mine one started earlier than you till today not yet finish maybe its because more cabinet to install , after install i notice they clean it right after installation.

but my one installation got some not flush 100% i am ocd , so the contractor tell me after all complete they will fix and touch up to ensure 100 no gap at all line .

U mean they clean the cabinets?

Was there any cutting of wood done inside? Mine was messy due to some wood n arcyllic cutting. Arcyllic has greenish dust n the installer was really messy n dirty compared to others. I had to wipe the ceilings n walls after completion.

yes this few day when i drop by the completed one they do wipe the cabinet, as there are some pencil stencil written to tell where go where like giant lego.
mine is still very messy and dusty as they have to cut wood inside the house to match the dimension 100%, also i have some custom carpentry job like my faux wall for walk in wardrobe is made of wood.

and today they polishing some floor on top floor more dust !

Hi!

Contractor A kinda messed up the installation of pebblestone around the wood deck. They were uneven with rough patches here and there. So, what the heck, commissioned a new pebble stone. Unfortunately no similar color as before so opted for black a white pebble stone.

Yes, it is slightly over budget. If i can get back the money from the dreaded expo cabinet and minus the retainer money from Contractor A, my total would be around rm142k. I think it’s a nice figure and hopefully nothing new pops up

Hi!

Been busy arranging for the move. Unfortunately kitchen cabinets are not completed yet but will still move today as arrangements are made. Curtains also will only be up by Monday.

At 9 cleaners gonna clean the house, and expected the lorry to (with all my stuffs) to arrive by 1 or 2 pm. So tonight I’m busy sorting through loads of stuffs, packing my glassware( packing myself for glass wares) and other loose items. The sofa covers are off as well for washing.

From March 2018, the day I got the keys to the house to November 2018- finally the awaited day is here, MOVING DAY!

I chose the mover’s lorry with tail lift based on previous experience of moving my upright piano, very heavy 😓 so I am quite happy with the lorry altho a little too small that some of my things could not fit. The current house is a mess with piles of clothes and books not yet sorted or packed but the major items were moved today!

It has been a long and trying 8 months! What’s left to do is to clean and sort!

Hi!

It’s been a hectic three days of packing (more like throwing everything inside heavy duty garbage bags), moving and decorating. So much yet to do. But one cozy little nook is completed.
