What's with your new replacement? DP problem?

Nah, it will come today around 4pm i guess. Not at home to receive the item but there will be people helping me with it. Therefore, i could not check for problem on the spot. Need to recheck it tonight and hopefully, no DP problem.

Anyway, as said before, i have emailled Dell regarding the refurbished issue and asked them to send me a brand new one instead of refurbish. Lets wait and see what they are going to do about it and whether i recieve a new one or not today..

Well, the first one is having standby problem. What happen was, sometimes, when i am using the LCD, it went into power saving mode and can never wake up from there. Moved the mouse, keyboard etc and it wont turn back on. Led is in orange indicating standby. All i can do was to turn off my pc, restart it and it went back to normal..

But the problem only happen once in a while. So far, its only been 3 times. I called them the other day explaining about the problem and they promised to send me a new replacement unit today. They even emailled me yesterday regarding the replacement and requested me to check my graphic card as well in case that might be the source if the problem reoccur again..

guys, between 19" LG L196WTQ-WF and Samsung 931BW, which one is better ?
L196WTQ has 3000:1 contrast ratio compare to Samsung's 2000:1 , will that be enough to judge that LG is better than Samsung?

and what's the difference between L196WTQ and L196WT?

design wise, Samsung is way nicer though, pricewise, LG is cheaper by rm30

Dell has the right to give u a refurbished unit as stated in the terms and conditions.

Yea, i know that. But i am just trying my luck in requesting them to give me a brand new one if possible. Hopefully they grant my wish..LOL...

Strange... DELL called me yesterday informing me that I will receive my LCD today. But have been waiting until now and still no sign of it...

now I still not clear about it, how Dell deliver stuff to our place? Using courier or dispatching people to our place?

You must be having a bad day. I've exchanged more than 10 times and non of them ask me to submit a photo. Straight 1 to 1 exchange without question asked.
