wow version 2 dy.. damn nice u all got nice 22" widescreen LCD... i don't know wanna spend more on GC or spend more on LCD.. haih..

You have to spend both. Using a big size monitor, you will need a good GC as well.

hehe, so meaning that no point getting a big screen with lousy GC.. so GC come 1st.. btw im thinking to get a 1950pro and samsung 226BW, or else i'll go for 8800GTS and choose a cheaper and smaller LCD.. budget just doesn't allow me to spend both..

But for me, I guess what I can afford and what I need. No need to spend so much. Get what you like.

I am planning to get a Wide Screen LCD for my computer....

And here is the problem I would like to find out anout wide screen..

The GC I'm using is Shapphire 9550 Turbo with DVI, S-Video and Normal output, Driver unknown...

Gaming Counter-Strike Source
1. Will the wide screen function?
2. will shows only in the middle of the screen with 2 blank space at each side?
3. will I be able to look wider then normal monitor, can view wider space then noraml?
4. Does my GC support it?
5. OR does it require new driver update?
6. or does it need some software to enabled it?
7. or will the character in the game looks like Dwarft as it will stretch to the side?
8. or you have more information? please let me know... Thanks.

First of all, not all game are able to utilize widescreen. Therefore, you will need to get a widescreen LCD with a 1:1 ration support or else, the game is going to be stretched. If it is able to perform 1:1 ratio support, then yes, it will be in the middle with 2 black lines on the side.
