QUOTE(ariesto @ May 23 2007, 03:26 PM) Samsung 226BW user, kindly go through the below link and check wether the C panel are same as the A panel. great find! http://www.behardware.com/articles/667-1/s...he-verdict.html TY it was a long read... but in the end....the difference is too minimal to make so much noise about. |

Its estimated to arrive at 28 May though.. it is....damn huge...i just did that muhself.currently running on 6800 Vanilla. end of the month itll be 8800GTS 320MB now just need to wait for gaji to come out |

Specifically this is called Overdrive, which is, IIRC, ramping up the voltages to achieve the faster response time. Both LG and Samsung employ overdrive to get their stated 2ms response time. from the link posted above....it seems the 226BW overdrive thingy is for the A Panels coz its not a native 2ms so they boosted it up to make it 2 ms. cant remember about the S Panels though...C Panels werent even tested in the article coz there were no C Panels yet at the time.It seems that Samsung's implementation of overdrive (MagicSpeed) is superior to LG's. |

i doubt the dell can be compared with the LG or the samsung. dell is their entry level and the other 2 are their higher end monitors....i saw someone posting pix comparing side by side the dell with the LG. and the dell was friggin dark and wasnt that clear either when compared to the LG. i think it was in this forum...forgot liao.

QUOTE(dattebayo @ Jul 2 2007, 10:13 AM) erm... I seen many ppl complaining over the Chimei panel of the newer samsung lcd. What concern me is , do we notice the difference that much compare to S panel, under normal situation , means we not deliberately to find its error spot or so.. just very normal gaming, movie, surfing when u say u see many people complaining over the C Panel...who are these people?? are they the gwailos on other forums? if they are...ignore them...they tend to be anal over everything... love to exxagerate too. theyre just making a huge fuss over something small...thats all. i have yet to see any C Panel Users complain about the C Panel on these forums.any samsung 226bw/931bw C panel user here can share? the C Panel is fine. im using it. works wonderfully. the main difference between the 3 is just out of the box...meaning when u take all 3 brand new and fresh out of the box and turn them on. the S Panel would look best. but after tweaking and setting for each user's own preference, they end up being the same thing. |

dont waste ur time with PC Fair. during PC Fair u go to LYP and buy ur stuff there...should have a lesser crowd. and prices oso roughly the same. our PC Fair here is a real joke honestly. go to singapore's PC Fair and they slash prices like mad!
even dell online oso same price as PC Fair..and like dattebayo said..dell wont do Cash & carry for their monitors. u order there and then they'll deliver. same thing as ordering from the comfort of ur own home the only reason i would go to PC Fair is to get some blank CD/ DVDs. even that oso wasting time only unless of course i go there just to look at the girls |

QUOTE(iZuDeeN @ Jul 30 2007, 04:46 PM) if you look closely are u sure??? i think ur talking about the 20" and not the 22"the 22"wide is actually a 17" normal lcd just that it is strech sideway giving it a 22" size... thus, you get more real estate on 22" normal vs 22" wide ![]() EDIT: heres a bigger picture » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by mADmAN: Jul 30 2007, 06:52 PM |
