Hi guys, I saw that 2019 Honda BRV seems to be selling around 60k which is within my budget. My questions:
1. How is the car in terms for reliability?
2. Safety for maybe ocassional long distance driving in peninsula with wife and/or extended family
3. Any workshops in KL/Selangor region that are good with Honda cars? or back to the Honda workshop?

1. Can't comment much on reliability, depends on how the previous owner(s) treated the car - I sold BRV soon after 5th year, but in those 5 yrs can consider a good workhorse, not much trouble but can sense CVT start to not be so smooth 4th year onwards. Even after service transmission, improved a bit then go back same issue. Didn't experience the steering rack issue famous on other Honda models.

2. Long distance ok, but my main issue was the NVH causing me to tire easily and easily doze off behind the wheel, this problem went away (mostly) when I switched to another car. This issue I think is also driver dependent - my partner can drive longer in the BRV before getting tired.

3. Dunno, all things do at Honda service centre except change battery & tyres.

2019 you can get around 40k. 2019 is not facelift model.

this is my personal opinion. so take it with a bit skepticism ya
1. reliable
2. safe
3. for normal service can go to SC. just refuse any additional stuffs. for parts can go to other shop. can ask in facebook group for which shop.
