Reaching 5 years 100k mileage soon means warranty over soon.

100k service free labour and chg spark plug. Rm380. Advisable to chg at Sc. Must change at 100k? How much to chg and service at outside?

Any workshop recommendable from Penang island all the way to sungai petani Kedah?

Thinking to continue to service at sc since until 200k 10 times labor charge total up 1327rm. Average 137 per time.

But worry about the parts prices also. Never chg brake pad yet also. Any recommendations shop that good service and won't have residue of dust from the brake pad? Price for brake pad?

Model of car plate number bulb and able to diy?

110k service fuel strainer and fuel retainer advisable to changes ? Even meter still reading around 13.4 to 16+ km per liter? That the only advantage to change is fuel consumption?

Tia for many question's

you can buy original parts and service outside, way cheaper. just need to find trusted workshop.

insurance should stick with HIP, easier later to claim at SC. ya, outside workshop also can claim, but with HIP at SC super easy. but this only when you need to claim la. touch wood you need to claim insurance every year. just be prepare in case anything happen. SC can also help claim non HIP too. but the price with HIP extra less 100 what.

Got any big problem on this car ?

latest 2020 facelift not much issue.

battery does not last long
sound proof not good but can DIY less than RM30 can fixed
odor from outside, can DIY too, no need to spend any money

as usual honda malaysia itself sucks big time in service and warranty, so u will have that. can join clubs where the whole community will help pressure honda if got issue.

kind of worth it compare to others.

i installed dashcam at sicurez subang jaya. dunno how they connect but SC said no issue with warranty because no cable was modified. so if it's a reputable shop, i think you can install with them. FYI, SC said even changing bulb to different watt can void warranty like changing the cabin lamp to brighter lamp. so they must know how to connect the dashcam without affecting warranty.

if you just use the 12V power, the dashcam won't work when engine is off.

Hi guys, I saw that 2019 Honda BRV seems to be selling around 60k which is within my budget. My questions:
1. How is the car in terms for reliability?
2. Safety for maybe ocassional long distance driving in peninsula with wife and/or extended family
3. Any workshops in KL/Selangor region that are good with Honda cars? or back to the Honda workshop?
*
2019 you can get around 40k. 2019 is not facelift model.

this is my personal opinion. so take it with a bit skepticism ya
1. reliable
2. safe
3. for normal service can go to SC. just refuse any additional stuffs. for parts can go to other shop. can ask in facebook group for which shop.
