i checked the manual of brv for auto lock and the feature is there but when i try to activate my brv auto lock it won’t work. so i go to honda and ask if they could activate it for me and they say malaysia model does not have auto lock. so sad. is there any hack to enable auto lock without buying that obd thing?

Dear all, I'm looking for a brv but according to the SA now no more stock to be deliver by 31Aug, SA advised me to book now and see if September Honda will come out with any promotion like absorb the SST or not. If not they can refund in full. My concern is the current 4k discount and current price is only effective for the car registered on or before 31Aug, I'm in doubt with the SA because usually if customer cancel the booking the fee will gone.

Honda dealers I spoke to allow refund of booking fee. Some dealers deduct a little money, say RM50 if you pay with credit card but give full refund if you pay by cash. Some dealers will still deduct a bit of money when you pay with cash and deduct more, if you pay by cc.
You can ask your SA to write it clearly and put his signature or company stamp (personal opinion, not sure if it's usable in the event of a dispute). Please take note of the TnC though. The compensation amount, if any, is unknown at the point of signing. Neither did it state the max limit.

Just get my BRV v spec Ruby Red today. Overall satisfied. Just when try to accelerate the engine sound a bit noise.

speed easily up 120..130..
speed up about 100km/h really noisy ...

steering still felt heavy ...

ok.. i booked next sat go to claim.
see how they do

if hold at 100-110.. then wan to speed up again to 130... will take some time

steering is heavy.. true.. if big wind.. will feel goyang2.. haha

steering heavy not a very good felt in driving ...caused of Electrical steering ...
hydraulic powered steering more nice to drive ...

slowly pickup to 130 sometime eco light will on... haha
