The lazada seller increased nearly Rm200 in 2 months, long time ago it was just RM23XX.

I have found RM2400 deal at GoShop!

Hi hi, can i ask some opinion from all of you?
Which model is better? nu7400 or u7a?
I prefer the Samsung one but my husband wants the latter.

Any suggestion?

It is subjective matter.
I like both TV for the price they asking.

U7A : Better panel, build quality, speakers.
NU7400: Better usability (operating system) + remote with mic. More app selection than hisense vidaa OS.

what else? hmm.gif

I have an impulsive move to try Haier TV. Is it reliable?
I had tried Toshiba & Philips and their reliability are so so. Now looking at this model --> Haier LE50U6600U. Anyone use and how is it?

hi,

Please advise which one is better,

Samsung - 55NU7400 - RM2899
Philips - 55PUT6233s - RM2499

Actually my original plan is to purchase the NU7400. the sales guy show us some 4k movie sample for both tv, The way I see it the PUT6233s have a better picture quality.

I will use the tv for playing games with my ps4 and movies.

I just bought nu7400.. so far view is magnificent. Especially if i play 4k from youtube..
One thing i notice, the sound system on this tv is really very good.. i have xiaomi soundbar i plan to connect it with bluetooth, but i dont think it is necessary for now..

I tried watching few netflix contents (movie and tv series), it is surprisingly good.. the image is crystal for non 4k contents..

As you can see in picture below, the new tv on the bottom...
Now watching avengers to check on quality

The 8000 series is far expensive for my budget..

If i can get the most out of technology for 50inch, im fine with that..
And i see nu7400 does suit my expectations.
Usually 2019 models will be available on april or may.. usually..

The NU7400 is still a low end TV, the difference won't be much between the different brands.

Most of the manufacturers will release their 2019 models around April-June timeframe. Yes you can wait, but there won't be any discounts for the new ones, expect to pay close to full price. The 2018 models should be discounted further, although I'm not sure how much lower. As a comparison, I paid RM2,688 for the 55NU7400 during 12.12 sales at Sen Heng, haven't seen it that low since...

Amazing..
If you coming from lower samsung series, the first time you will notice the sound quality enhancement.. it just amazing..

Youtube 4k is absolutely nice, but netflix 4k is amazing.. not all Netflix is in 4k, some hd.. but still picture quality is outstanding..

Also the response is quite fast, after turn on tv, less than 10secs i can watch netflix via wifi.. that is pretty fast..

I havent try the voice command yet.. so many things to explore..

Sorry, i didnt have time to connect my ps4, will update you once i did..

bruh my personal researching experience has told me that no tv under 5k can do hdr properly cause no proper local dimming and peak brightness

For me the x85f is the bare minimum for any HDR experience, or any other TV of this price range
Or the lowest tier OLED TVs will do too

Anything under rm5k will only play the HDR files or source properly without artifacts but you won't be able to experience the dynamic range
