Ya I saw LG store 4K tv priced at 15,999. Have u compared is it cheaper online or retail?

Of course it is cheaper online for most of the tv but have the risk to buy compare to retail store:
1. Shipping damage (just look at lazada comment section on each seller) - have to initiate return by yourself - > waste time and probably need to fork out extra money also.
2. Item missing during shipment/super late shipping at peak season of shopping/ wrong tv model send - although not everyone face it, problem still exist.
3. Have to claim warranty from service center by self. Sometime warranty card and receipt seller no sign/chop it, make difficult to claim.

For your case I think better go retail. RM15k is not small money, retail maybe can ask for extended warranty/free gifts/nego kaw kaw.

Dear Sifus, im on a budget and planning to buy a 4k tv by end of this month. But should i wait until the 2019 model be in store first for me to get a chance to buy the older version with a cheaper price?

I just bought nu7400.. so far view is magnificent. Especially if i play 4k from youtube..
One thing i notice, the sound system on this tv is really very good.. i have xiaomi soundbar i plan to connect it with bluetooth, but i dont think it is necessary for now..

I tried watching few netflix contents (movie and tv series), it is surprisingly good.. the image is crystal for non 4k contents..

As you can see in picture below, the new tv on the bottom...
Now watching avengers to check on quality

The 8000 series is far expensive for my budget..

If i can get the most out of technology for 50inch, im fine with that..
And i see nu7400 does suit my expectations.
Usually 2019 models will be available on april or may.. usually..

Yes, nu7400 supporrt both 2.4ghz and 5ghz..
Which was one of my concern before purchasing this model before, because i read it somewhrre newer samsung tv doesnt support 5ghz, only super high end models support 5ghz..
But that was not true in my case..

Above tv, i hang on my bedroom.. no cable source at all.. using fully 5ghz wifi.. so far ok, streaming youtube and netflix super fast for hd and uhd contents..

The remote is very stylish and simple.. got voice command on it

They are both Mid-range LCD TVs .

If you are not in rush , probably just wait for the new 2019 models which are going to launch in roughly 2-3 months .

There will be quite a dramatic improvement on the upcoming Full Array Local Dimming system and wider viewing angles on VA panels .

Again , I expect the Mid range ~ High end ( at least RM 4k and above ) of LED LCD TVs from major brands to get an upswing in 2019 . So if your budget fall within the range , you may want to hold your horse for a just a little longer.

Else the entry level 4k TVs are pretty much going to stay the same as last year , with even less features to save on manufacturing cost as the trend has been continuing for awhile.

Thabks.. As currently senq has promotions with 15% stroee credit rebate which I felt pretty good deal.. 2019 I predict the price will be 12k region without promotion at least couple months after launching

Iflix preloaded on the tv apps, together with netflix..

I already subs to netflix rm55/month (if not mistaken), up to 4 devices and support uhd..

Didnt try iflix yet..

Does iflix offers far more better than netflix?

There are local contents in netflix as well, but not so many..
Like the recent hantu kak limah 2018.. that is available..
So does the old movie, adnan sempit..
Since netflix offer around rm50 for up to 4 devices and uhd.. i cant resist my self from subs to it..
Im using unifi 100mbps, so far no problem.. netflix buffering at beginning for 1 second.. then smooth hd or uhd contents .

If fiber connection it should be fine..
Because with my 100mbps unifi, i tested up to 3 devices streaming netflix at same time..
So far no lag or buffering experience..

So for one device 30mbps should be fine, what is important is fiber connection..

Are going to get the same tv model too?
Nu7400?

The lazada seller increased nearly Rm200 in 2 months, long time ago it was just RM23XX.

I have found RM2400 deal at GoShop!
