Your XYX is not a special number.
That XYXY (3939) is a special number. Usually have to tender for it.

To be clear. 3939 was the “special or reserved number” that was incorrectly given by the SA and not what I wanted.

I have enquired from one of their websites (not through Facebook), they said booked the number then go to their office to make payment.
After payment, they will transfer the number to your name.
Didn't ask them how long it will take to transfer the ownership.

Eventually I tendered a new number via a runner.

May I know when did you book the number? Means until today the number haven transfer to your name yet? Curious on the total days and how do we know the number successful transfer.

PPA now is in tender phase
usually will take some time after tender closed in order the tender winners get their number
then even more time will pass before the rest of the PPA number will be open to public

since now the PNY only just open
typically, Penang number plate will take up to maybe 2 months to finish up
