Hi, not sure if this is the right question to ask here.

I sold my car a couple of years ago, and I am interested in my old number and the first three alphabets. If the buyer of my vehicle uses his number, will my old number be available to purchase? How to check?

then if the buyer exchange his own number to your old car means your old number is attached to another vehicle

how your buyer do is usually buy new motobike, with his target number plate
do the exchange s that the new number is put on the car, and old number is put on the motobike

sell off the motobike is easier than a car

I dont think the old numbers not used is automatically go back to JPJ to be sold, maybe if the motobike is scrap

so i would say, you have to make sure what your buyer did to the old number

cases like yours, wanting to keep the number
you should have buy a motobike with any given number
do the exchange and sell off your car

as for the motobike, you keep until you get new car, then same, anyhow number on new car, and do the exchange

for you case thats a couple of years already, you really need to do detective work to trace back the number
I believe any number must have a vehicle attached and maybe only revert back to JPJ if the vehicle is scrap

heck I am not even sure that JPJ will scrub the info from system regarding vehicle linked to that number plate
so it might be forever tied,

maybe can go cari ketua pengarah JPJ to see what can be done

why when i log into jpj ebid... the main page always shows TIADA SIRI DIBUKA UNTUK BIDAAN ?

I cannot search for the number I want..

Jpj ebid is not a constant things

When a state have a bidding for upcoming series open it will be shown on the page

Bidding usually last around 2-4 weeks (not sure of now)

If just closed, then the listing is taken off of the site

What's you're reasons to search the number?

Numbers is not booked and taken off of the listing
So no point to check that on the ebid site

I want to log in and bid for a new number for my new car... but been loggin in since yeater and today, still shows nothing.

We will not know when any state have new bidding appear? No notifications?

Also it's not a daily affair
Might not be even a weekly affair

Some states will have up to a month or more for the next tender to come up

2 numbers will be RM800,except for selected numbers (2 number not available to buy normally, only ebid)

the other triple numbers is normal RM300+10 can try buy

but triple numbers move very fast, so usually very hard to get

quad numbers can have 9 selections 1000s-9000s

to get tri numbers better to go through ebid, but jpj ebid not always have one in circulation always

my recommendations?
open up to quad numbers, less hassle, more chances

if wilayah plate now is VJD 32xx, would you know roughly when
