Just finish watch the official gameplay trailer. Now my heart is beating fast for this game w000000000!
So looks like nuke for terran is still there. BUT, the effect of nuke is so dissapointing, definitely like the RA2 era style explosion.... (no way to compare to C&C3's nuke effect). Hope they will improve this when it's release. (but to be fair, their black hol elook much nicer than Rift~~~) |

Looking at the screenshots........it's basically the same game with superior graphics facelift and new storyline,that's all
Blizzard didn't even include a new faction or race.....still the same old Protoss,Terran and Zerg and a new combat system copied from Warhammer 40K |

When it hits you get a blinding flash with a fantastic looking mushroom cloud and when you scroll to the blast site you can hear the geiger counter starts going off warning you of radiation.This is probably the best take on nuke detonation in any game by far. SC2 nuke still follows closely to the original SC nuke. |

Starcraft II is designed with Professional Gaming in mind...meaning its gameplay suited for Competitive play....basically tools for tourney and such...wat a turn off. Us casual gamers being ostracised...

I still think that having hundreds of units fighting each other is a bad idea without population cap/limit.....rather than employing a strategy.......now it all goes down to the amount of units u produce...the one with the most units will probably win.....snore....i think i'll stick with Company Of Heroes instead

Sometimes no limit cap can be a dangerous thing when managing your resources. And it's not like the game is released yet. Give it a try when it's released before saying that "Oh, this game don't implement this, so it's crap" bullshit.C&C only has 3 factions and no one complains. Heck, the original Red Alert II had many factions, but looking closely, they are just 2 with some difference. Rememeber, more factions = harder to balance them. Thus, 3 is quite enough for me. Even in the orignal starcraft 3 factions are hard enough to master. Let alone more |

The old gameplay for Starcraft was what made it one of the best RTS games of all time.....now it's just gonna be a clone of SupComI did play SupComm for a brief period(kinda boring)......while resource management is a strategy i don't agree on the part of unit compositon.....i'll usually emerge victorious after rushing enemy bases with hundreds of units(obviousy more than what the AI can churn out)..even with AI turret emplacements constantly bombarding me And having no population cap will make Starcraft 2 very slow in multiplayer action......no instantaneous battles...more of collosal amount of units |
