If one can find a 65 Inch QN95B for less than 8k, would that be a good buy? read about about some issues with it so not sure if this is something worth considering.

For <Rm8K definitely worth to purchase for a New unit.
Most, if not all Brands of TV have some minor issue.
See if you can live with the minor issue, only you can decide for yourself.

Get the New QD-Oled, top up Rm1K for S95B. Saw some post back that was <Rm9K.
Don't know if comes with soundbar. Definitely worthwhile getting it.
Readings too much will sway your decision. Everything has pro and cons.

Few years back, they run some test on burn in ended 2019.

this was not the S95C but a focus on the panel itself

I hope they've really fixed the bent panel issues.... considering the S95c is even slimmer than last year.

This year’s will be a battle between Qd-Oled with MLA.
Who will win ?
All with boosting a brighter and more spectacular highlight.

I think the answer is quite simple. Dark scene, WRGB surely dead compared to QD. Now just need to compare brighter scene. I'm actually quite surprised when I see how the brightness test was done. If the white in WRGB is turned off, LG is dead.

biggest drawback to Samsung TV is no Dolby Vision support despite the flagship pricetag

and Tizen UX/UI leaves a lot to be desired even compared to LG's webOS

Agreed. For me, I really prefer Android/Google TV since I can also use the TV to turn smart switches on or off.

For me TV just to watch movies 🎞
I'm using normal switches which will last for decades to come

Normal switches also won't last for decades. This one still okay. The capacitor inside the switch will kaput every 1-2 years. Replace that and it's good to go again.

Another problem is the apps on Samsung TV…

- Disney+ Hotstar (and a few other streaming services) still not available as of today
- iQiYi always buffering and laggy
- RTMklik no longer working on my TV

Not sure where to make complaints 🤦🏻‍♂️

Is the samsung AU7000 series really as bad as Reddit says? My parents old 10 year old tv just died and they need a new tv urgently (damn perfect timing just before CNY sial...). Mostly dramas, news and sports. No gaming and very little movies. Source will be from tv box.

Based on reviews I think the TCL c635 seems popular but i can pick up a 55 inch AU7002 for about rm2k from a nearby appliance shop immediately.

What should I do?
