Wonder those with access with Samsung's EPP can get the S95C at what price. Aiming for the best PQ comes with the best wallet pain too. tongue.gif

Pretty sure that is just what it is, an urban legend

Thanks for the info. S95C quite expensive jugak for EPP. How nice if their TVs also follow their Galaxy range that drop prices after a few months. Too bad about your parent's situation though, just bad timing je, but QN95B at RM6250 not bad jugak.
*
Try checking with stores like One Living or Desa Home Theater. I got my QN85C from One Living after checking with my friend who have EPP, surprisingly One Living price is cheaper. However the catch is that's usually cash price. If you want to do installment there's usually a fee for 24 months and above.

If S95C too exp maybe its worth considering S90C also. Basically almost same as S95B from last year with some software and processing improvements. But you will most likely get the first gen QD OLED panels also. S95C will be 2nd gen panels. Also with S90C you get 4x full bandwidth 48 gbps HDMI 2.1. On S95C its capped at 40 gbps only due to hardware limitations in the One Connect Box

If it wasn't for the reviewer's surprising find, I think Samsung would have carried on quietly about it's 40gbps. shakehead.gif
*
To be fair it only affects a very small group of users that will make full use of the 48gbps bandwidth (high end pc gamers). But in the end, a flagship tv of this price shouldn't be compromised in any way

Sorry if in wrong thread, but currently looking where to buy Samsung 43" QN90C.

Usual online malls (Shopee, Lazada etc.) got results but most don't have any reviews.

Those that do, sold out edy.

Anyone knows where can get?

Thanks
*
Pretty sure if u walk in to any big retailers (Harvey Norman, SenQ etc) they will have stock, if not they will order for you

If want cheaper price can check with One Living or Desa Home Theater

Alternatively wait for sales on Samsung official store or find someone you know who have EPP

This is the price taken during fair. Further discount to RM7200. user posted image

Then I upgraded to S95C with additional RM500.
*
Pretty sure that's a display unit.... but weird also somehow they have a S95C lying around for you for another RM500

Unscrupulous to advertise that price tag without mentioning its display unit if its true, somemore with that big 'New' sticker above

It's brand new set, not display set. That's why I wonder is this a bargain or a catch.

The 'New' sticker mean new 2023 model.  biggrin.gif

How do you know for sure?

We are being skeptical because the price is too good to be true

7700 for 65" S95C.... think about it. Its too good to be true

Either its display set or its just limited to 1 or 2 units for the expo

Honestly if u really bought it at that price then congrats

I just noticed your post after researching about QN85C. I think this tv is underappreciated. a lot of ppl despises this tv due to ADS panel but they didnt read reviews that shows how good mini-LED's black level is. it also has less blooming compared to sony x90l.

i haven't been in a market for samsung tvs but this new release seems like a good replacement for my nu8000. i don't mind the lack of dolby vision as this will be mostly occupied by the kids downstairs (i already have lg oled in the bedroom).

thanks for the review. the zebra looks can pop out of the screen. incredible.
*
It's a VA panel actually. ADS panel only for US market

Yes very underrated TV for the price. Too bad there's no Dolby Vision...

I just watched Blade Runner 2049 yesterday on Netflix in 4k (too bad no HDR) in the most accurate FMM settings. Looks gorgeous. Cant imagine how OLED or QD OLED will look like if a mid range miniLED is already this good

I think QN85C and QN90C this year carries a lot of improvements over from last year QN95B flagship, but they just dont get as bright

do you have reference saying malaysia (or asia) using VA panel? coz i cant find any on the internet.

Early source is from this post on another forum, but no one is able to confirm it

https://www.avsforum.com/threads/samsung-20...6/post-62500743

I then went and verify it after I got my TV

The BGR arrangement and subpixel pattern. IPS/ADS panel will be different

Look at the difference here (ADS QN85C)

You can also refer to the subpixel pic of the QN95B which is VA only as reference

BGR is a well known arrangement for CSOT VA panel

How to access Samsung service menu for those with the latest smart remote. No need use the old remote. (do at your own risk) -

i) Download SmartThings and link your TV to it
ii) Bring up the app remote
iii) Turn on your TV. Make sure the audio output is set to TV speaker, and make sure you're at the Live TV page. (I tried at the Home page and it doesn't work)
iv) On the app remote hit Mute > 1 > 1 > 9 > OK
v) This will bring u to the hospitality menu. Once here hit 1 > 2 > 3 > 4. And this will finally bring u to the service menu

You can check your panel display time from svc - info

Reason I do this because I realised from the SmartThings app it actually shows your panel display time as well, but not sure how accurate is this. After checking the service menu i can confirm the value is the same

Noticed that tbc2u (same shop that someone bought a cheap qd oled) is selling 65qn95c for 7770. Strange because qn85c model is more expensive than qn95c on their shop on Lazada.
*
Where you saw it? On their own website they still listing QN95C 55" for 9k and 65" for 11k

Strange that I cant find it on Lazada website but still there in my lazada app...

Anyway, give you a better deal... 7.4k now with Desa Home

https://www.lazada.com.my/products/free-del...1378725328.html?

Finally found the tbc

https://www.lazada.com.my/products/courier-...1970952480.html?

Looks like Samsung Malaysia doing big clearance. Searching QA65QN95CAKXXM will show a few seller offering between 7400-7800.
*
This kinda makes TCL C845 seems like a bad deal now. Unless you really insist on DV.... QN95C is a no brainer at that price. Also if that other guy really bought a new S95C at 7.5k....

But a bit weird also it suddenly dropped to this price. Isnt it a bit too early for a clearence this time of the year? Samsung havent even revealed next year line up

[EDIT] Only 85" QN95C is left on Samsung website now. 55, 65 and 75 is all gone. Seems like whatever is left with the shops are gonne be the final batch assuming they are not display units. Still felt weird and funny Samsung Msia is slashing their prices for the QN95C so aggressively while some people in other markets (eg: US) are struggling to get their hands on one because the supply is not there

What about QN85C? Seems like the price is still pretty standard...

Not sure whether this move is just specific to Msia or global. It would be interesting to see Samsung's next year line up

Probably fixing cost more than refunding you, that could be the case. After all, qn95c is over 1300 dimming zones vs qn85c which is similar to last year qn95b which comes in around 500++ zones.

Anyway found a seller on lazada which can use bonus... 65qn95c 67xx, 65s95c 77xx...

Wonder if the guy who bought from tbc got his s95c already or not... suspect could be display model that they are clearing.
*
QN95B, QN85C, QN90C etc all 720 zones for 65" models

95C have 1344 zones for 65" iinm

6.7k is absolute steal for QN95C, even if its a display unit imo provided the condition is ok

I'm actually curious how much my 2 months old QN85C will fetch if able to trade in. Too bad cant find any retailer that accepts trade in.

Will the price become lower during this 11.11? Not sure should buy now or wait until 11.11

Start collecting lazada bonus from tomorrow, then buy on the last day of lazada bonus sales, should be 11 or 12

I want to see the panel is first gen or second gen.

Thinking to get it from Lazada, the price is very attractive around 7K for 65ā€

65" S90C so far is first gen panel, no indication of second gen yet

People in Reddit forum reported they got 2nd generation panel for 55ā€ and 65ā€ S90C

https://www.reddit.com/r/OLED_Gaming/commen...e_s90c_has_the/

The way to check is searching the below value

ANAPEAK values in the service menu.

If 5XX (512/588) = Gen 2
If 6XX (682) = Gen 1
*
That's what they call 'panel lottery' now

imo I feel its gonna be hard to get 2nd gen panel in Msia unless your unit is fresh from factory but who knows. Because from what I can see, S90C are ready stocks now and its not that popular unlike LG C3. I would assume the 2nd gen panels only started rolling out recently

QUOTE(Kiding @ Nov 12 2023, 12:33 PM)
I’m struggling between QN95C and S90C, obviously S90C is better but QD-OLED longevity and burn in are my concerns.

QN95C is also perform better in bright environment, thing I need to consider if I move to new condo where living room is much brighter then current home.
*
imo if condo, since your living room is connected to balcony, consider getting a TV with very good reflection handling. Otherwise the glare and reflection will be annoying when you watch during day time unless you close the curtain. It's the only thing I dont like about my QN85C. Didn't consider this factor when I was shopping for TV

Depends how near your TV will be to your balcony also

I think QN95C have a better anti reflection coating than S90C. S95C will be same as QN95C
