Maybe your model doesn't come with it.

Mine KS7000 (2016). But anyway the playtv I don't use because not subscribe to it. Even the free tv1 , tv2 etc not loading . Waste time this app.

i wanted a soundbar but the good ones are too expensive to justify as a soundbar.

Bluetooth speakers? I think you have to control vol directly from the speakers control.

i can control the volume using tv remote if i connect the speakers to tv via bluetooth no problem. the thing is, every time i turn off the tv, i need to reconnect the speaker and tv. no hassle for me. hassle for the wife tongue.gif

now i connect them with optical cable. turn on tv, straight up sound come out from the speakers. but volume i have to use the speaker remote. again, hassle for the wife tongue.gif

The thing about Samsung TV is , they NEVER update their OS .
They may add a feature and two via firmware , they don't upgrade your OS to the newest version , at least not via WIFI / Internet.

For eg , if the models from 2017 are using tizen 3.0 , it will be using tizen 3.0 forever while the 2018 TVs will be using tizen 4.0 .

I am not sure if this has anything to do with you not finding the Unifi TV apps .
Maybe it is not yet supported for the newer Tizen version.

I am using KS7000 model, won't apply to you.

Anyway I just adjust what's best that suit my viewing experience. I never follow what's recommended on the internet, espc the experts.

What they recommend, I just follow the opposite. They recommend to use movie mode, which I find horrible. If I wanted a picture that look yellowish, and constant micro juddering, I might as well buy an old worn out TV with yellowish colours biggrin.gif

What I saw in the showroom is what attracted me to buy my TV in the first place, the bright picture and beautiful saturated colours.

So I adjust it according to what I saw in the showroom, dynamic mode , smooth motion flow and all (so what if they call it soap opera effect) , I like it very much. If my eyes see things in real life moving smoothly, why shouldnt I adjust my TV to be super smooth, just because the experts say it's not natural.

Who are they to tell me what I like smile.gif

Not good , the QLED TVs don't sell very well in MY unfortunately .

Especially not the Q6FN model , which feels like a slightly improved NU8000 but cost so much more.
Because of the pricing ranges , Q6FN feels a little unnecessary . If someone want an upgrade over NU8000 , they should just go for the Q7FN or if they want the best 4k QLED , the Q9FN.

Thanks for the information, it seem like here in the US, smart TV are dirt cheap where everyone change TV on a yearly basis as if like buying cloths especially during black friday sales.

my initial plan was to get this model Samsung 55" Class NU7100 Smart 4K UHD TV but after researching and reading review, it seem like the Q6FN is a better choice although is double the price of NU7100 and only extra $250 over the NU8000 (anyway, i paid $1086 after tax during black friday sale which is kinda good deal though for Q6)

so i did a comparison between Q6 and Q7, don't really see much a differences in term of spec (i'm kinda noob when comes to TV but do share your experience if can)

Rtings will give u all the answer you need about TV quality

In MY, a lot of us still consider Samsung 2016 models the best - KS7000 onwards (with Quantum Dot Tech). Bought my 55" KS7000 at RM5k

2017 - Samsung become greedy and create a new premium line-ups of QLED series. Jack up the price. Then introduce a series of upper-mid range TVs (MU8000-9000) which is without the Quantum Dot Technology and sell it at >RM5k
