Let us start small, I am more interested in the details of how a league is run than setting up a website, currently just posting stuff on one of the front threads will do I suppose.
So we go like :-
- Declare league start
- Get players to join
- Start playing and organising <- this is the part where experience comes in
how do u divide the players, set up timeline, choose map etc etc....
If that would be the case, then setting it up would be pretty simple job. We can just make use what have been praticising by others league like the one in dows & esl. As for the map, is even more straight forward, we'll have a map rotation on every week, ofc, map pool would be the same as those in GS auto 1v1 ladder. We might just add up a few tweak over the rules to make it more local, that's all.

while speaking to Darkfyre earlier, i suggested to have the website hosted with www.mas-1.com.
Mas-1 represents many games when it comes to professional gaming and they are ok to let us have access to it. another reason y i recommend Mas-1 is because it gives us more regional exposure, as Mas-1 has and could also attract more players!
Mas-1 can help us with a template, all is need is a person with good organising and scheduling skill to put everything up and update everything.
5oul, it should be easier since u wont have to manage the website and that the website is already there. up for it 5oul?
That would be fine. But would MAS-1 allow us to use their site ?? I dont believe in free lunch in the world, if by all means that we will become part of MAS-1 in order for us to use the service, I'm afraid the decision is beyond my responsibility. But I wouldnt object on joining MAS-1 as a division either, who knows we might attract somebody abroad ?? Or I'm just thinking too much, there's actually free lunch in this world

??
I dont mind organizing the first league, but definitely I need a few assistants so that I could pass down the knowledge. So in the future, when I'm not around, somebody could have done the job as well.
