i think most of the RM88 package has been upgraded to at least 1.5mb few months ago. currently i am paying RM88 per month and my connection speed is 2048/512. i am able to download at max 200 over kbps (not BT) but of course after they throttled BT, my max speed is around 30 over kbps sad.gif

OMFG !!!!! GUESS WHAT.

From tmpoint they said my place is outside the 3 km range from the exchange point.

Guess by how much ? I'm 4 km away from the exchange point. Just a measly 1 km !!! WTF !

Adsl 8 mbps can reach 18,000 ft (5,500 m) so how come i am not covered vmad.gif

The chart comparison

the people who subscribe to this package are just plain stupid or have no knowledge whatsoever with the current status of the shitty provider. until there are no other competitor saround, they will continue draining every cent out of us. same like astro. huh.

umm 4mbps is not good for BT, but it will rock for all eMule user since most ISP can't stop eMule Protocol OB encryption at the moment =D..

i'm BT user, i dont see any problem for BT since i always get over 100kbps download if the seed is hot like naruto, bleach etc.

At current streamyx transfer rate for BT, I hope they come out with a package such as this:
Streamyx 0.4 Mbps (only RM 19.80 only!!). And no, there's no typo.

I'd be the first in line........

Haha.. rm250+ after the introductory period and it's only for a few months. You think this price will stay meh? I think they never made profit with the rm188 2Mbps plan also how this?

Yah, like a superhighway, but you can't drive on it to the fullest because the TM police say you are using up too much of the road.

I stayed at the Imperial Hotel last year (in Tokyo's Ginza section), and the ADSL speed was >10Mbps.

Yes, such speeds are POSSIBLE on copper, but of course, the QUALITY of the line must be present.

As for TM's case ...  rclxub.gif

bump, and i was told once by the tm staff tat copper line will not copped up with more than 1mb speed....haha....really funny, lucky i never listen to those baboon.

BTW, thats mean 4mb is good with our old copper line? wow thats is good to hear, at least, i would no need to change my 15 years old copper line..hoho

I completely agree with the statement above. Only a complete idiot will pay RM198 for a THROTTLED 4Mb package. Why do you want to pay so much just to surf? It would be nice if everyone didn't bother to subscribe to this new package. Then that will tell tmnut that we all very angy and mad like hell at them. Also we have the infamous "BEST EFFORT" tag on the 4Mb package. With this, do you think you will even get 80% of the 4Mb you are paying for? I seriously doubt it when 99% of 1Mb subscribers are complaining everyday of their slow speeds.

is more like buying a porsh but given petrol supply not even enough to run a kancil (and there is no way to find 2nd petrol source, for most of us ...)
