Could be battery as you're never sure how long the car has been sitting in a yard before being prepared for you.

I always thought it is an Iriz known issue as it has been happening in my 2014 unit. Every time before a cold start, I'll switch it to ACC, pump the fuel a few times before crank to start...usually works

my suggestion is that, go find someplace to do engine washing/cleaning, thn check where it was leaking from, IF from oilsum/rocker cover, it will be cheap fix, if from head, another not so expensive fix(head gasket), However if it's from belting area, it's another story.

I get what you mean, a weak battery definitely is one of the cause to it.
But for my case, my battery is rated 480 CCA and the tester has measured it is >550CCA, 12.59V.
Meanwhile the car production in Apr 2024.
And for my case, the long cranking usually happens after a drive which means the engine is warm.

Complain to SC and they help to retighten the grounding, but after a day from the SC it happens the same

A lot of ppl commented throttle body...usually they clean it then the problem goes away for a while before returning...but your car is just 3 months old, not sure what it could be

Electronic control throttle body, cannot move it or adjust it manually. Else gets this annoying rpm up and down abnormally. Clean the throttle body but dont adjust it. Else send workshop to calibrate it back

As I know 2017 above have it.

Tried to search in internet but no concrete answer.
Looked at manual book also not mentioned canbus wording.

yup, iriz 2014 got canbus.... exora, preve earlier than iriz also got canbus

no problem, can use socket pnp with or without canbus... tried both of them and prefer with canbus, got extra feature such as door indicator, reverse steering trajectory

depends on what/which seal..

About rm1.5k all seal replacement. Parts are cheap, but the workmanship is expansive cz need to drop engine, gb etc. I did the engine mounting replacement as well during that time but part I bring my own.

Flywheel oil seal of mine was leaked so replace that together with auto oil seal, drive shaft seal and auto oil seal. Sorry not engine but gb.
