Just make sure you also change the oil filter and gearbox calibration too, its a big ticket item but that item usually last around 60k km under normal circumstances.

I would not penny pinch on such item since the replacement box could cost a bomb.

Also, these day proton using shell oil as their CVT oil.

No idea why so but I guess due to costing?

Definitely outside for my known workshop. If SC, price start with rm3k based on the quotation i received. Its for 2015 Accord

Any idea what is the price to replace the gearbox gasket?

My gearbox is non-stop leaking.

I've finally let go of my 2015 Iriz last month. Quite sad actually, but it had to be done. Thanks to everyone here for sharing your info which helped a lot for the past 9 years.

Same year, mine is 1.6 Premium. Just send her to repaint for better looking. Hold her cz mileage still low, 40k+ now, bought used when at 11k km. Engine oil using Mizu fully synthetic, now with 0w20. Seem slightly better FC

Did you manage to find a proper one where the reverse sensors still beep?

I bought one of these HU harness with canbus, hoping that the reverse sensors will work again. Not only did the sensor functionality not return, reverse cam also stopped working haha. Canbus settings done. Took to 2 acc shops and they too couldn't figure it out. Finally put the old non canbus harness back in and reverse cam is working as it was previously.

If you know of one that works with 2015 iRiz 1.6 Premium, please point me in the right direction

Ps: Proton original reverse cam acts funny, usually works the first time the car is thrown into Reverse, out the 2nd or 3rd time, may work again on the 4th or 6th time or just show a blank screen. Have tried other settings besides CCD but they either show no signal or have a static CRT screen (black lines that roll upwards). Inclined to believe the cam itself is wonky as I cleaned the connectors yesterday and it seemed to work well while parking for that 1 minute leading me to think it was resolved but this morning it was back to its old self. Might have to see if i can find a test unit to verify before deciding if i want to buy an aftermarket AHD unit since its much cheaper and clearer.

Care to share more? Im curious knowing that 5w30 (fully) / 10w30 (semi) is the recommended grade per user manual.

Bit late but if youre still looking for an answer:
3rd brake light and reverse lights - T15/W16W
Dont think you want to touch the signal bulbs as they might cause a canbus error on your meter cluster thinking the bulb rosak. Ofc, if you found something that works fine, do share.

Haha no worries, on the current iriz i can say putting LED light will not work.
Even the shop that helped me install the led build tried to put a bypass thing by splicing the wire in between also does not work.

To be honest kind of bummer but at least the error does not occur when I previously using LED build for the front headlight and small light.

Ah yes, since headlight housing is reflectors on the latest, best to stay with halogens. Otherwise maybe can eye the Active LEDs (not sure if it will fit as it is or not however).

Really leaves a bad taste when acc shops cut or splice as they wish

How to sure ya. I rarely warm up, but just drove it slowly until reach my house traffic lights (5 minutes drive). Then I assume my engine already warm up there to drove faster after that

Odd, I bought the same (different numbers) but it just refuses to work. Mind sharing the link if you have one? Multiple sellers also swore the reverse sensor cannot work anymore or just couldn't figure it out. Bunch of cables inside was quite a mess. I may have gotten a dud or DOA unit

Your casing and meter cluster threw me off haha wondering if it was a facelift between the 2017 - 2022 model before i saw 2016 being stated in your post.

Is your rear cam stock by the way?
