Ya, once you get your debit card, walk to the customer service staff at the bank and told him/her to apply for online banking.

Only Visa can withdraw funds from paypal while master cannot.

Ya, after you sign at the back of the debit card, can start swap, no need to wait the pin arrive.
Pin is just for you to withdraw and check the balance of your debit card.
The silver bird logo printed at the back of the debit card is the new card, old one painted at front.

Is depend on each individual, some of them need debit card to control their money and make it convenient, no need to bring more cash go out.
So you must save the customer helpline in your phone to in case something bad happen.

If you want to use debit card to buy goods from the merchant, you can ask them whether have extra service charge or not.

Usually wait for 3 or 4 days, the system will automatically refund, I try before waiting one week to refund to me using maybank debit card to pump petrol at esso petrol station, if you still not yet get the refund, call the maybank customer service centre.

You can withdraw all the money out if you after open the account, make sure you have a minimum balance in your account before you want to use your debit card to pump petrol.

Look for the merchant with Visa or master logo then you can use debit card in Malaysia, so far bill payment cannot accept debit card only.
