Being underdogs is neither good nor bad, just the fact how things are. You could see the reply to your questions and suggestion in my early reply.

We havent done whatever we have done to Porto, MCity & Roma to RMadrid. Doesnt mean we won't be able to do it, but let's show them more respect, they have earned that. They found it hard in the Liga because Ronaldo was not fit & firing; it's different story in UCL, it's like the anthem rile him up.
*
Being underdogs has less pressure as you said. Pressure does funny things to sportsman.

Of course we respect them They are finalists too. However, we do not need to fear them They are underperforming in LaLiga for a good reason. Many old legs including CR7 are not exactly running like bfore. Bale being made the scapegoat.

Therefore, we have a very good opportunity to make history.

A.Madrid tried that 4 years back, we know how it ended; Juve thought they forced extra time. This is why I dont think "get the job done in 70mins" would actually seal the deal. If anything we should know no lead is big enough not to slip, especially for us.

They are up for their 13th overall, and 4th in the last 5 years, with just about the same group of players. What guard down, we are the underdogs dude. They have all the advantages except the pressure of being the favourites which they are perfectly comfortable with...

I'm usually optimistic but I prefer to be realistic when all facts point to that we are the massive underdogs.

Same here. For reasons that I always believe Real Madrid walks on water in UCL most of the time.

They Win that, Ronaldo (rm & all ManU fans happy) will be crowned best player (again)

Otherwise our MO will have a really good shotout at that (Ballon D’Or) apart from Messi & Ronaldo

We are ‘underdogs’ in terms of UCL pedigree compared to RM

Even though for most of the match Bayern deserves better and were a slightly better team. That’s why never never write off lucky Real Madrid

no point looking back in anger on coutinho. if liverpool do win the final, LFC might gv a medal to him due to his contribution before he depart. but i doubt he wants it, unless coutinho is like Harry Kane rclxs0.gif rclxs0.gif

Really?

Couts and Suarez just won the La Liga with Barca, and.... Suarez probably won more trophies he in his short stint in Barca than his 3 yrs in Liverpool.

Can't swallow people are saying Liverpool are lucky and nearly lose.

They don't remember how RM got into the final? With their "lucky" win against Juventus and Bayern ?
Liverpool's route to the final are certainly more convincing than RM.
This is football, a win is a win.

Why can't our rival just give us some credit for being in the Final.

You don't score 40 goals in the Champions League by luck. That's an average of 3.33 goals per game. Some may argue that a couple of penalties could have been awarded against us but they then also need to look at the fact that some of the penalties that went against us were harsh, and we've also been denied penalties of our own.

It's easy to say a club got lucky without backing it up with statistics or fact. We "nearly lost"? Yes, based on the final aggregate score of 7-6 but we did at one point lead 5-0 at home and 2-1 away.

Let's not forget an unsung hero that pulled some strings to secure Lazio's training ground for the team to prep for the Roma game.

Lol what's with the talk of Coutinho and even Suarez? I am sure they are more than happy winning cup at Barcelona. Keep on clinging to them just showed how butthurt we are, just move on.

Anyway, tbh I am more comfortable and have more confident with Ox at the mid instead of Gini, but what to do, we can only hope Gini turn on his HOME form during the final.

Well he did kinda turn up yesterday scoring an away goal after 10xx days or something since 2015 lol. Some may argue he is dropping a bit deeper under Klopp(hence the low scoring rate) but gini’s style is all about workrate and tenacity but never about penetration and flair

It’s not like we have a lot of options in midfield right?

Let's face it, he isn't going to be on SNL anytime soon but he got that one spot on! I reckon every team needs a workhorse, someone to do the dirty work even if in unspectacular fashion. I just wish he was 5 years younger. He's a decent starter but an above average squad player at the very least.

I think it's good to have a mix of characters in the dressing room. On a related note, I'm backing TAA to start against Madrid like most and I really hope he continues to develop under Klopp. He is certainly versatile and at times looks like a midfielder stuck in the body of a rightback but more importantly for me anyway, he's a local lad. Since Carra and Stevie hung their boots up, I've been hoping for a thoroughbred red to step up. I think it's important to have someone who understands what it means to play for the club in the dressing room.
