Anyone been able to subscribe Netflix via Astro billing?
Recently stopped my Netflix subscription in July but now I wanted to rejoin Netflix via Astro billing now it just says “Sorry, this offer can’t be found”.
I do this because I don’t want to be tied to 24-months contract, so I can freely “on and off” my Netflix subscription.
To subscribe Netflix and charged through Astro billing as an a-la-carte monthly addon (not the 24 month contract addon that you see on My Astro), then the only way to do that is
subscribe Netflix directly from your Ulti/Ultra Box.
Firstly, launch Netflix app on your Ulti/Ultra Box. One of the shortcut to do that is
tune to CH741.
From there,
login to a Netflix account where the subscription is not active, or create new one on the spot if you want.
Then you will be prompted which plan you want to proceed with, just follow the instructions accordingly.
Note: If that Netflix account already has an active subscription, then it will be treated as if you login Netflix to any device; it won't migrate the payment method of that account to Asto billing whatsoever.

I’m still using Astro for billing, able to do it since 3 years ago
but isn’t it once tied to Astro billing also means 24 months contract? Not neccessary. If you subscribe Netflix by launching the app directly on your Ulti/Ultra Box, then it will be a standalone monthly addon. The price will be the same as retail price, and there's no contract.
However, if you want to subscribe Netflix through Astro but
NOT launching Netflix directly on your Ulti/Ultra Box, such as through My Astro app, then the only option you'll see today is the 24-month contract options.

Mine didn’t tied to any contract. It functions as its own payment method ala carrier billing. I’ve been doing it ever since Netflix was available on Ultra Box.
To anyone wondering why not use CC - Very convenient I’d say. All my tv subs in one bill. With Prime Video coming in… feels so organized
Not everyone has that thought in mind, but yeah, it is considered common practice among many pay TV providers around the world with the ability to include streaming apps charges in the same bill with a pay TV service, possibly at either same or lower price than original retail price.
You subscribe Prime Video as a standalone addon from Astro also?

I see. I subscribed mine before it was on UltraBox I think, then only the app came to UB. I get discount for my Netflix (upgraded to Premium) on Sports Plus Pack, so I just continued and got tied with 24 months. Next round I probably won’t do it anymore.
I remember the business rule back then was, it is mandatory to change to Ultra Box if you subscribe to Sports Plus Pack, because that pack has Netflix bundled in it (Netflix Standard plan).
You asked this before:

Hi, I'm on Sports Plus Pack + Netflix Premium and considering ending my Netflix subscription. Is this allowed? Or can I downgrade to Astro One: Sports Pack?

Or nothing I can do now until my contract ends in Oct 2026?

Astro already discontinue their contract auto renewal last year, so once your contract ends on Oct 2026, then your account will no longer have contract after that.
