Also if you want to watch sports, avoid pirated box. 1-2 minute delay is if you are lucky. on average it can even be up to 5 minutes. If you are unlucky, the stream just dies on you during matchday as everyone is fighting for the same bandwidth
Also there is a risk of getting caught buying one, and an RM20K fine awaits.

I am also bothered with the delay, since I watch motorsports and I have live timings usually running, so if the delay is too between the real event and what I am watching on TV, the live timings would spoil the result for me

Most of the time, you will end up with a black screen if you want to screenshot/record something with widevine DRM playing over Chrome.

IIRC someone saw an advert on Unifi TV that you now will get free Hotstar Disney+ sub with Unifi 300Mbps, and not only for Unifi TV Ultimate subscriber. So yeah, don't need Astro for Hotstar anymore

So apparently if you have plug and play, you can't just reset the box and change to antenna now

Oh this works! But since I don't have the appropriate dcss antenna, I have to use Plug and Play mode for UHD

I also have an old Astro decoder with the build it HDD. The new DCSS LNB only has one RG6 output right? So do I need to split it three way (new Astro box x1, old Astro box x2)? More importantly, can I split the signal in the first place?

Hence why K+ is made into a linear channel, to replace OhK!
Btw TVN is it's own channel in Korea, hence why it has no issues with latest drama titles direct from Korea since they own the titles themselves.

They are channels that Astro does not have license to show on IPTV (which Plug and Play technically is).
Previously, they consists of most of Disney's owned Fox channels, NHK (which is quite strict with it's license) and Sky News. But since Fox has folded, only NHK and Sky is affected

Technically ultrabox and plug and play is the same thing. Just the difference is that you are either using satellite dish or internet 😅

Similar to how Unifi's app are re-subscribed monthly, your Hotstar account is renewed every 3 months. Astro are doing it by bulk, and that IMO is actually the reply from Hotstar to Astro, which Astro should not have forwarded to their user. I presume they forgot to turn it off

Singapore is not one of the Disney+ Hotstar market tho, they have the American Disney+ service. So this won't affect us even if Hotstar (which is actually to cater for the Indian expats living in Singapore) exits that country

Dependa on who is watching. I only care about Japanese drama.
I honestly think majority of Malaysians are fine with what the offering is right now.

780 has been basically sports for near a year now. You can't get non sports 4K contents anymore on that channel.
