Anyone encountered issue with their ultrabox? After standby, no video…only audio. Have to reboot the device and it’ll be ok until I put on standby again. Hdmi is ok because once restart  it is ok until it’s on standby.

Have tried factory reset but same issue.

Are you on Astro UHD ch781/782 before you put to standby mode?

Astro CEO reply is censorship and content control is under the control of the streaming site, as now it’s not regulated by government

LOL its alright running on the latest software 😂 I just wanna try their new decoder. If you read my previous post I am not affected by the measat 3 outrage. I am getting higher bitrate as well for HD channels except for the recording where I do notice the bitrate has dropped from 9.5-11.5Mbps to 6.1Mbps. Live channels and on demand working well with higher bitrate. I have been telling you guys that they did something on my account. This is why you guys should keep pushing the broadcast engineers.

But what I experienced about an hour ago is, most of the channel's EPG are showing the "No information available" while a few other channels has EPG as usual.
Tried rebooting it, still the same. Even Astro Go's TV Guide there also shows "No information available" on most of the channels.

But now seems ok already though... So far I don't see any comments from Astro's social media pages about this.
I guess that "No information available" issue just briefly happened till only a minority of people would realise it.

This is the possible way, but rest assure Astro currently don't check on it as there is too much loop hole and uncertainty.
By the way, it is not necessary that the main decoder must be connected to the same network for the second decoder hence different IP address is possible.

You mean, sometimes the quality is in Full HD, and then sometimes the quality drops to SD, is it?

The out focus look like is: when you shoot film/video in focus object thn suddenly you change the focus lens and refocus back the object.

What you've experienced is, the video streaming quality keep fluctuating from HD to SD throughout the movie playback, which affects your viewing experience.

You connect your Ultra Box via WiFi right? Is your Ultra Box placed near to your router, or is it 1 wall away, or few rooms away, or it is placed at different floors? If you can connect a LAN cable from Ultra Box to your router, that will be the best. Otherwise, Astro will put the blame on your WiFi, no matter how much you disagree with that, since they can use the excuse that WiFi signals can be affected by obstructions, interferences and so on, which is not wrong...

In simple words, as long your Ultra Box is connected via WiFi, you are at disadvantage when facing issues like this, cuz Astro will put back the blame on you. What to do? Customer want convenience with WiFi connection mah 😅😅

And what do you mean by "Eat Subtitle"?
