Bidder names in ebay are now set as anonymous, hence you will see only names like bidder1, bidder2, bidder3 and so on.

Fake is fake lah. Most people nowadays in ebay can tell if it's fake or not.

And yes, there are cases where me and my mates know some irresponsible Jersey Collectors who bought some stuff from shops like SR Sports in PKNS, Shah Alam which are brand new with tags (BNWT) and sold cheap here (RM99) but sold in ebay as expensive high prices. That's ok, it's business but the seller has a partner in crime and will ask his friend to up the bid.. so the end price becomes higher. Dirty tactics and unethical.. it exist. We know who they are but then.. what can we say?

erm...hard to say bro...but seeing the low bidding price and all his other item is size M and XL, i suggest you dun take the risk. Even if the jersey is authentic, how to confirm that signature is really Giggs'?

Think again when you are buying on the net:

* How if the seller showing you the 100% original jersey pictures on the net, but sending you the fake one after you paid for it?

You can't do anything about it. Don't you?

fake stuff, real stuff, you still get the same shirt but with diff quality.so its kinda rip off if you buy real stuff unless ya filthy rich.cause for a shirt that cost rm200^ is just a price you pay for the marketing ploy and thats that!

re EEE, i assume you are referring to ebay purchases. FYI, ebay has a dispute resolution in place, where you can raise a dispute in that event. It applies not just for jerseys, but for all other goods as well. Its unfair to generalise trading on internet as "unsafe" just because of possibility of fraud (i am not saying there is none, in fact i acknowledge there are fraud on the internet). But it would not be fair to legitimate sellers plying their trade there. Caveat Emptor (doctrine of Buyer Beware) applies even for offline transaction, where ppl can put up legitimate stocks up front and sell you fakes (ala DVD stalls all over the palce). Which is why it is important to do all you humanly can to check before purchase. And in event of fraud, to report the same for dispute resolution so that others would not fall prey to the same person.

In Ebay, do check seller's feedback (this is one very useful feauture of ebay) before committing to a trade, and also be a respnsible buyer by leaving accurate feedback for others smile.gif

re orangetribal, you can consciously choose to buy fakes, thats your choice. I think it is unfair for you to judge other's choice when you yourself do not like others to judge yours. Whether it is a rip-off is also subjective. If buyers feel price is unfair, they can choose not to buy the kits, and send a message across to the clubs / manufacturers.

But purchasing fakes does not benefit anyone except the fakers. Buying original kits, will directly benefit the club you support. Yes, they get richer bla bla, but aint that what you would want of your club? For it to grow and prosper and be able to afford good players and improve the squad?

But anyway, like i said, if you consciously made your choice, that fine (your choice is fine, that is. It is still an illegal trade-mark infringing act by the fakers). It is a different story if one gets conned into buying fakes which is being passed off as real goods. Thats what we do not condone.

My mentality is like this. Lets say i made up my mind to buy Lamborghini. then seller shows me two Lambo, 1 is the authentic one, but the other one uses lousy metal painted like Lambo only, inside is enjin Kancil. Of coz cheaper la. Let say i buy the lousy Lambo, show people that i love Lambo by driving it around, but deep inside, i know its sh*t material....

same with buying ori or fake. Is it to show people which club i support, or is it because i truly support my club? always hear the same reason, "ppl wont know its ori or fake". I dont care what others think, as long as i know i get the real thing, i'm happy happy.gif

Then again, it depends on ur personal choice la....

@EEE, that's why i wont usually buy from ebay members that put pics of the item that is taken from website ie. kitbag.com,megastore.com. if the item is shown lets say on the seller's bed or almari, then higher chance the same item shown is what you will get. So if you get fake, the item shown is also fake. And like wat chcher said, try everything possible to get more info from the seller or those who had deal with seller before. Anyway, try ur best not to ter-bid fake item la, coz if u wanna dispute, its a huge pain in the ass i tell you.

my final advice, dun bid if u are not 100% it is authentic (if u are looking for genuine one la tongue.gif)

One word of advice is that maybe sometimes too much information may not be too good, as this is a public forum after all, and all information in a public domain will and can be used for proper or improper motives. Do take note...
