i was going out with my friends trying to get a job at a shopping complex near putrajaya as it is my semester break..and just looking around in a sports store (not naming any name but hey..maybe you know who? tongue.gif) and check the jersey there..and i am surprised!!the nike jersey that they are selling is fake!!(arsenal jersey and few others just forgot what club)i was shock as i 'pernah' buy jersey there...never check the originality as i am confidence but now..im thinking of banning them.

if you want to check their originality for nike jersey check the red tag inside the jersey at the bottom..there should be a red tag with a red nike logo...on the left of the red tag it has a silver lining...some of the fake jersey have it also but the nike logo is very very shit...you can just on the spot know that it is fake...and the silver lining for fake jersey is sewn not like the original..the original look like dotted silver line while the fake one, the line is quite longer and doesnt look like dotted.

i hope that for those who like to buy original jersey do check it first before you buy...i dont like it when my fellow footbal fanatics got cheated..especially their money worth 200++....and if there is anyone in the forum know how to differentiate other fake jersey from ADIDAS, PUMA and etc...do state it here..so we can help each other from this money grabberrsssssssssss..thank you and BEWAREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

You must be kidding... Al Ikhsan selling fake?

Can you show me the proof? I have been shopping there for many many years and I have never seen any fakes there? What do you mean about fake jersey there?

I visit the al-ikhsan branch quite often there at Alamanda Putrajaya. I have not seen any fakes there. Trust me, I know how to differentiate fake jerseys because of my vast experience. Only football jersey collectors know what I mean...

Are you referring to the Arsenal home jersey as shown below?:

I've seen this jersey before at the store, I went to the store last week. As far I am concern, it's original.

Do you mean black nike tag with red nike swoosh?:

Another way to tell it's fake is, flip the back tag and see the serial numbers of the black tag. It should be there and should diffentiate it.

Easy. Fake jerseys usually sell in XL sizes only. But now there are M sizes but they have wrong sizing (38/40 inches is the right size but somehow it displays 44/46 which is XL size). Poor embroidery also shows the feature of a fake jersey.

Please view my signature below and visit a guide I prepared to see my bad experience on buying a fake United jersey. If you think I don't know my stuff, please visit my link to see my football jersey collection, the link is displayed at my signature below as well....

I would dare to put my knowledge on the line to say that Al-Ikhsan never sells fake items.

By the way, last 3 weeks ago I went to Langkawi for a vacation. There is an al-ikhsan store there and they sell 2 United home jerseys. Both are Large size jerseys (FYI, there are no fake jerseys with Large sizes). I quietly took some pics of the jersey:

user posted image

The shirt is located behind an Arsenal away shirt.. damn.. hehe:

The size of the shirt is L. This shirt is from a new 2007 batch production design where they no longer use 'Nike Sphere Dry' but 'NikeFit Dry' design on the sizing label:
user posted image

As you can see, the price sticker logo (which you guys can clearly see is from al-ikhsan) shows that it's RM239. Normally it's RM259 (al-ikhsan tends to sell items that are going to be obsolete cheaper because there will be a new 2007/2008 home kit):

There are inner labels and the small black nike security tag inside the jersey:

As well as the new sizing details, 2007 batch jerseys will now use NikeFit instead of Nike Sphere Dry:
user posted image

Similar to the United tags when still using Nike Sphere Dry, only United jerseys have tags with 'manutd.com', instead of 'www.nikefootball.com':

Other images of the tags:

Honestly, I don't think that Al-Ikhsan sells fake jerseys. There is only one sports store at Alamanda Putrajaya and so far I think the store that is mentioned here is al-ikhsan.

try watch the arsenal jersey that sells for rm90..i couldnt manage to take a picture but it sure have the red nike tag and the silver lining..the thing is that the red nike logo doesnt look like a nike logo and it really look distorted...while the silver lining doesnt look like dotted as the picture below but looks like a long line...if i manage to go there again i will try to get some picture.
