Just wondering, does anyone use Maybank Debit Mastercard Platinum on Samsung Pay?

I notice that the transaction points allocation for merchant differs.
Points rewarded for 99 Speedmart reflects immediately while Shell or BHP petrol terminal reflects 2-3 days after that.

While Maybank Debit Visa Platinum has no issue at all for all merchants. Reflects immediately for Shell & BHP petrol terminal.

A scenario where I pump petrol on 30th March and due to the delayed points allocation, it credit the points into April quota instead. Despite transaction on March, points given on April month. Wasted the allocation points for March.

I rarely use shell, BHP always on the spot, and also patronas, but patronad give me double rewards, after several day again same trans pop up

Trans that always delay for me is Kesas toll, need several day later, LDP hit and miss, if got also several day later
And NPE toll is few mins after trans

Looks like Mastercard have some delay backend for confirmed transaction, if that's the case.

Toll for me, the points allocation for KESAS, LDP & NPE all within 24 hours. Which is acceptable for me.

And the weird thing is patronas second reward always same time 02:00:00
Example today pump 9/4/25 18:43:25 already get reward pts
Few day later 11/4/25 02:00:00 again same trans, reward pop up

Why RM10? SamsungPay will give you reward for even a few cents transaction..... if you are patient can settle everything for the month in one shot.

I don have patience to do repeated trans in same time

Petronas if multiple pump, don't collect Mesra Points. It'll flagged your account as risk after 4th transaction.

So just pump without collecting any points.

My thinking is:- taking my phone out and swiping it 50 times in a month will take X amount of time (take out, unlock, swipe).

If I take my phone out and multi-swipe at the petrol station, it will take less than X amount of time. So if I do have a bit of spare time at petrol station, just settle everything there and then.

4th transaction when scan the same credit card already show error before key in phone number.

I tested SamsungPay at Petronas, did not get the additional 2:00 am transaction/swipe/points
