Recently bought new phone and tried to relink all debit cards for MBB.

Phone spay no issue as verification can be done through banking app.

However Samsung Watch couldn't verify with the banking app. Only have two options, banking app and call bank.

Trying to open banking app doesn't do anything. Anyone faces this issue?

The Kuching Belang Hitam Kuning bank has increased their Samsung Wallet security.

We need to install the Maybank MAE app on the device and activate Secure2U in the MAE app.

After Secure2U has been activated, we can easily verify and activate the card in SWallet app.

Meow verified and activated the same credit card within 2 minutes interval.

The problem with Secure2U in MAE is we hv to go ATM to activate it. So, in the future, if we upgrade to Note26, we hv to re-activate the Secure2U one more time. The entire process will take 12 hours cooling period after register at ATM.

Alternatively, we can call the bank's Customer Service to manually activate the card(s) all at one go WITHOUT Secure2U as the "middleman. But need to wait 1 hour for the process to complete in their system.

Here's the tricky part. For phone, I can activate no issue. The app opens when we click Open Banking app, and press approve.

However for watch , it's a bit weird. Whenever I press Open Banking App, the circle logo loads and it stays there. It didn't trigger the MAE app. I went manually to MAE app to see if there's any request, none either.

So I'm stuck at this point. I may just end up calling Customer Service later. Just lazy to wait for the queue. Haha

Then, activate manually. Or try see any app update at Galoxxx Store. Before CNY, there were a few updates for the SWallet and related services to the SWallet.

Called in manually. I gave up trying to troubleshoot the issue. Lol

This was the version installed.
Every other related services updated as well.

Did spay updated their points system?

I notice parking with grace period free doesn't entitled for points anymore.

Only paid transaction can collect points

Just wondering, does anyone use Maybank Debit Mastercard Platinum on Samsung Pay?

I notice that the transaction points allocation for merchant differs.
Points rewarded for 99 Speedmart reflects immediately while Shell or BHP petrol terminal reflects 2-3 days after that.

While Maybank Debit Visa Platinum has no issue at all for all merchants. Reflects immediately for Shell & BHP petrol terminal.

A scenario where I pump petrol on 30th March and due to the delayed points allocation, it credit the points into April quota instead. Despite transaction on March, points given on April month. Wasted the allocation points for March.

Screenshot given to show the massive points allocation due to delay while I was asleep.

I rarely use shell, BHP always on the spot, and also patronas, but patronad give me double rewards, after several day again same trans pop up

Trans that always delay for me is Kesas toll, need several day later, LDP hit and miss, if got also several day later
And NPE toll is few mins after trans

Yes if toll is posted in one shoot like your screenshot

CIMB master rebate card

Looks like Mastercard have some delay backend for confirmed transaction, if that's the case.

Toll for me, the points allocation for KESAS, LDP & NPE all within 24 hours. Which is acceptable for me.

Petronas if multiple pump, don't collect Mesra Points. It'll flagged your account as risk after 4th transaction.

So just pump without collecting any points.

I can confirm that Debit MasterCard by MBB had the slow points issued whereas after I opt to change to Debit Visa MBB, the points reflected immediately upon completion of transaction at petrol terminal.

Any idea why?

According to Samsung Pay team, it could be MasterCard backend services which has slow payment verification system. Hence giving Samsung confirmation 48 hours later or more.
