Never tap twice at 99..
But at Petronas, they need to tap twice.. Tap, fill, and tap again to finalize |

QUOTE(Theoutspokenguy @ Apr 2 2019, 11:09 PM) Then isn't it easier just use your physical card in the first place. It loses the purpose of having a virtual card. you need to understand some shop pos need key in card number to complete transaction. Then next spay user come insist physical card needed thanks to you. The main purpose of Samsung pay so to prevent fraud or revealing your info to other ppl at the convenient in a phone. But if you feel you need use spay and physical card I highly recommend u use your card to avoid 2 steps. how the f I use my card and app no need you recommend |

We can now use contactless mastercard to tap in and out Singapore MRT station to pay for the ride fare. It is launched today and I have tried out by adding my samsung pay card into the SimplyGo app and used phone to tap in and out. So there is no need to get the Ez-link card when we travel to Singapore. Fare charged is the same discounted rate as ez-link card rate.

QUOTE(joshhd @ Apr 5 2019, 01:31 AM) Sounds like you're referring to YouTrip card, am I correct? No idea what YouTrip card is, but I was referring to SimplyGo app, which can be downloaded on Google Play or App Store. You just need to create an account with your email address and mobile phone number, and add your mastercard. That's all. And foreign cards are accepted. You need Singapore IC, or some Singapore government-issued documents like permanent resident, working permit, etc. to sign up that. Ordinary Malaysians, still can't la... You can read the news here to have a better understanding: https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/tran...ublic-transport Below is the authorisation fee from my first tap. Subsequent usage has no record in Samsung Pay and no deduction from my card yet. No idea when will the charges be deducted. However, the transaction history is all listed in the app, with the route and fare stated. Besides trying Samsung Pay, I did try out BigPay card too. Both worked seamlessly. No top up needed, no queuing up to purchase train tickets. You could add more than a card in the app, so you can choose to use whichever card you want to use to pay for the fare. |
