Since it supports payWave, why not tell the cashier u would like to use payWave, ready ur SPay and pretend holding a physical payWave card, then tap using ur SPay instead when the terminal is ready

After CC terminal completes the transaction, their POS is not able to capture the transaction.
They'll call their supervisor to come and say customer uses SPay.
Supervisor said void the transaction.

Sounds familiar?

Double tap like GSC actually is not a problem if they explain to customer.
The padini supervisor i talked to was very friendly - told me that management not approved to use it. I told ask her if people actually do it could work or not - she says got people actually do a bait and switch with a physical card and then tap with phone. It works.
But by procedure the staff have to report to management, review CCTV to show that the customer do it and not the staff let them do, and write a report.

Previously BO also have this policy (the staff say akan kena marah by management) but all of a sudden they relaxed and allowed it without ever displaying "Samsung Pay accepted here" signboard.

So it sounds really like poor management decision on panini's part. I would say its really a panini decision

Dont want to make it difficult for poeple who are just doing their job lor. I just ask them nicely what is the reason la.

Sometimes their system is Integrated with the credit card machine so It might mess up their system. I been here long enough previously u can use Samsung pay at padini then they dont allow after spay their system have problem.

Back in August last year, somebody reported trying at Padini and it did mess up with the cashier system.

Are your phone and watch connected? They hv to be connected in order for points to be awarded. If they are connected, points usually will be awarded immediately.. If they are not connected, points are awarded once they are connected. That's how it is for me.

I just notice recently.. if the watch is not connected to phone for quite some time, the transactions will fail..
So it is best if it is connected with Bluetooth to the phone during transaction..
I m using gear Samsung Gear s3.

And btw, there nothing good to be redeemed now?
