I concur with Sniper, battery life is different for each user based on usage patterns, apps installed, etc. But I would say that with my same apps and usage style I got more out of the S8+ compared to the S9+.

I do experience a tiny bit of lag on the S8+ and I realised this as soon as I switched from the S8+ to the Note 8, with 6GB RAM. Everything felt snappier, and it was the same with the S9+. That’s not to say the S8+ lag is unbearable, in fact, some people may not even feel it at all. It’s very, very minor.
*
I factory reset my s8+ after reset. Its still buttery smooth but certainly 6gb will be more snappier

Not sure about that. But for sure i can see huge difference btw s9plus and note8 /s8plus camera.

Samsung changed their jpeg processing. Less heavy on the smoothening and sharpening.

On the topic of accessories.

Gotten another case... Spigen Rugged Armor Urban.

Some observations.

The Urban version addressed a few shortcoming of the old Rugged Armor. First, while thickness is the same the Urban is cut differently so there's additional 3mm of space between tempered glass and case corner. Confirm won't lift any tempered glass.

At certain angle with the old Rugged Armor, tempered glass is higher than case coverage ie the glass will touch the floor when dropped. The Urban addressed this but only by a tinnnny bit though.

Another pet peeve with the old Rugged Armor is that the back of the case will smoothen up, turn shiny and ugly pretty quickly. I've gone through 3x Rugged Armor case (not including other cases) during the lifetime of my S7E. The texture on the Urban might help alleviate this.

And this just arrived.

Fusso oleophobic coating repair. Tried it on my S7E .... sooo smooth now.

Would depend on the charger's quality no?

In addition to samsung chargers, I'm also using mine with a HTC QC2.0 charger and a QC3.0 multi-charger that I bought from 7-11.

All working nice, no overheating.

Yeah agree, battery life is really depends on how user use it and how they set their setting. Like mine, lasted more than 24 hours, since I last unplugged my phone on Tues morning at 4am and now I'm left with 29%.
I have FB, WA, Insta, Gmail, Mail and some other stuffs running background. But I usually close all before I lock my screen and notifications still coming in.

Nicest to hold is still ringke fusion imo

UAG is nice also but TBH I find the quality lacking abit.

Design/function wise its great but the molding lines on the bumper part is so rough... doesn't reflect on its price lor.

...but will your phone survive a drop? The material quality is inferior to the original case. It is fine for scratch protection but I wouldn't risk a 4-5 feet drop with them.
