In my opinion, no. If you're upgrading from a S8+ to a S9+ in the hope for better battery usage and standby, you'd be disappointed.

On the plus side, the 6GB RAM on board makes everything smoother in the S9+ compared to the S8+, the fingerprint sensor location makes more sense, and the speakers are much better. As for the camera, yeah, portrait shots are better but the S8+ camera was plenty capable too in my opinion (but I'm not a serious photography enthusiast).

You can try to tell them to reset your data account connection

Try and see if it improved.

hi there, so it means to say that 4gb on s8+ vs 6gb on s9+ will have significant better user experience on the latter? another s9+ user said that the new exynos 9810 chip is more meant for photography enhancement. but, out of curiosity as an s8+ user of 8895 chipset, i was wondering whether the newer chipset will have better battery life.. like example, i use heavy whatsapp, telegram, gmail, yahoo, heavy calls in one day, the battery on s8+ left 17-20% by 6pm cos i thought at least at 3500mah, can last 1 half day or so.. another thing about s8+ battery is that when fully charged before going to sleep, by next morning, the battery is left with 92-93%..i dunno whether it is normal or not cos it sipped the battery quite high even on idling / sleep mode..

Battery life very hard to compare ler... everyone running different config... different stuffs installed.

My own case is I fully charge the phone before I sleep.... with AOD off, power saving mode on (mainly to disable background network activity) and wifi on ( "keep mobile data turned on" being off)... 7 hours overnight drain 3% battery.

But my usage especially pokemon go memang rape the battery...by ~3pm, my battery left ~40%.... I'll charge again until 90%

By 9-10pm, battery left 40-50% again.

I concur with Sniper, battery life is different for each user based on usage patterns, apps installed, etc. But I would say that with my same apps and usage style I got more out of the S8+ compared to the S9+.

I do experience a tiny bit of lag on the S8+ and I realised this as soon as I switched from the S8+ to the Note 8, with 6GB RAM. Everything felt snappier, and it was the same with the S9+. That’s not to say the S8+ lag is unbearable, in fact, some people may not even feel it at all. It’s very, very minor.

Yeah agree, battery life is really depends on how user use it and how they set their setting. Like mine, lasted more than 24 hours, since I last unplugged my phone on Tues morning at 4am and now I'm left with 29%.
I have FB, WA, Insta, Gmail, Mail and some other stuffs running background. But I usually close all before I lock my screen and notifications still coming in.

Yeap i realise samsung antenna not very good. On my old phone, i wud be getting full barswith 4g+ on my data. But on this s9 plus, its 1 or 2 bars with 4G at the same location on Maxis

Not sure about that. But for sure i can see huge difference btw s9plus and note8 /s8plus camera.
