The bold part, you say can't connect the "radio", you mean the sound? Sound still on the phone like what Lanchio said? Or you mean your phone can't connect to the HU/radio for screen mirroring?

This is why I can only use Waze, real time traffic info and re-route with accurate ETA. Beside Baidu maps only in X70 and if all owner using it it's still only 10K people vs Waze/G Maps that have millions of user in Malaysia.

Music unlikely I need to use their online, with all music in my phone is already enough.

Those air-cond, weather, gallery and video apps don't think will use it. My car air cond never adjust anything for whole year except the blower speed. Malaysia weather easily predictable just see the sky. All this while i don't bother see video or photo while driving, so nope.

Hi Proton I also feel just gimmick, if want to change blower speed or open windows it will be mush faster to just reach for the button. By the way the windows button Auto UP & DOWN only on driver side or both front or all 4 windows?

I think depends on case for phone connect to radio since this suppose to be a function of the radio.

I check the photo for it's power windows button, even the most basic spec have same marking which I guess means have auto UP & Down

If it's true. A lot brand will get tapao as they still equip normal power window.

Now another point, does all power window with anticlipping feature (so arm/thing Don get stuck. I not sure how they all call it)

Hi guys. Wanna ask for advise.

I already booked x70 premium, my bank loan is approved, and the SA said the car can be delivered on the second week of April.

But the SA forces me to pay full downpayment first to get the chassis number etc. I said i will pay all before i take the car, or a day before i take the car. But he keeps insisting me to pay now n sign bank agreement now to secure the chassis number for my car.

Is it really a normal practice like this? Because last time when i bought a car, i paid the d/p on the same day i take the car or at least a day before. Can anyone please advise?

Hi X70 owners, does Android Auto work with this car? Can it load Waze using Android Auto?

I went to see the car the other day, the SA told me it can load Waze by Android Auto. But afterward I read the car review and not even one say Waze nor Android Auto can be run, but all is Oct/Nov review so I don't know if now Proton have updated the software.

If it can't, how about using screen mirroring function to show Waze? Or it's too laggy to be usable?

Android auto can be integrated into easycon app however when the car starts to move or the handbrake level is released it will disable the screen. The only app allowed to be displayed or navigates are navigation apps such as waze or Google maps. Screen mirror does lag but negligible. Does not cripple your usage.

There are recent work around to allow apps such as youtube to be mirrored while driving. If you ask me, better install a phone holder then operate the phone screen. It's much faster. Premium owner will frequently have switch screen to 360 camera due to motorcycle or nearby obstacles detection.

You mean the HU will disable the touch screen for whatever app being mirrored by the easyconnection when driving? If Waze or G Maps also can't be interacted when driving? Or you mean it will totally not show the app being mirrored?

will allow mirror on Waze. you can interact with Waze through the IHU screen. other apps or display will be disabled.

yes. will switch back automatically once the obstacle is cleared. pretty much like your reverse cam. They will show the location of the obstacle and also mark the distance and colour code the clearance

Geely Boyue PRO with the revised exterior and interior. So far only the outside has some clear shots but the interior is very different from the outgoing X70 based on spy photos.
