I suppose kena batu is one of the risk associated with sunroof. But I do prefer this sunroof. I honestly understand the reasons of not wanting it but in life.... there are ppl who do wish for such things. I can also bet there are ppl who wish to not have tpms, cause for 50 years of driving didn’t have one, no need nappa cause can save few more thousand, straight up just have 1.8 without turbo too..... save some”hassle” of “maintaining the complicated turbo”.

Heck y even go sooo atas...... do halogen bulb with ladder frame chassis ala avanza, some say will drop the total price by 20k lol.

Anyway, just placing sunroof on the top spec is a wise choice, cause, not all would afford or want it, but not to alienate those who want and are able to afford it. It’s not even the fancy panoramic ones the likes of Tesla......

Proton is changing the impression of cheap car. Low quality. No QC. They need to start first. If they are able to sell out 100k cars. I believe consumer is morr acceptable on the lower price car. X50 at 80k or x30 at 60k price. Its about marketing strategy. Improve from the top.

Before getting the car, salesman recommend me Raytech with "salesman promotion".
In fact I would like to send to my neighborhood Raytech as well if they did not offer any voucher for me.
So is like a convenience for me cause they will Raytech worker to fit the tint at showroom also.



This package is RM1900 follow JPJ Recommended Visible Light Transmission (VLT) (The darkness of the tint, front 70% driver side 50%, rear 30%).

And I add one more layer of dark tint to all windows which is illegal. All windows cost RM250 more and the VLT on my car now is like only 30% driver side and 20% all rear windows. Front Windscreen is not included.

so how you protect your new car paint? just waxing or coating?

waxing = 1-4months & cheaper
coating = 1 year perhaps, quality one for sure 1k & above

im more on how to prevent those rock chipping especially on front bumper.
coating also not able to withstand it.
better saved up money for repaint after 4-5 years?

Can tint sunroof n add another film on top??

Just tint the darkest & highest TSER tint that they have. Works well for me.
