Before October 2017, terminated prepaid numbers can be reactivated ... Since october 2017, terminated numbers can no longer be reactivated as prepaid  ,,, a directive by SKMM and applies to all telco ...

AFAIK, currently, terminated numbers can be recovered as postpaid under Maxis (if not recycled yet) and there is an additional 10 days account termination grace period under Xpax after it reached the 50 days grace period.

Dunno about digi ... their grace period is generously a little longer than others ...

still got grace period? hmm.gif
so far their customer service/facebook reply said terminated number cannot be recovered.

Digi is likely the most decent of all the telcos in Malaysia and it is no coincidence becos they are majority foreign owned by a Swedish company.

Digi has mainly one issue - coverage problem.

But compared to Maxis or Celcom or U Mobile, who all suck, or suck even much worse now than before, Digi is relatively more decent. The rest are all local, and of course, local = sucky. Always been, always will be.

I have used Celcom and U Mobile before, and both suck a lot. Maxis also sucks a lot now....and overpriced (for NO reason).

Your experience may vary compared to others. At my area, Maxis and Celcom is okay. In fact, Maxis has the best average speed and coverage.

Did you mention Digi has one issue as coverage?
If no coverage, how could Digi be "decent"?
Digi may be good for your location and please don't judge others telcos based on your location ONLY.
Open Signal has reported Maxis has the best network.
BTW, local = suck, that means you're suck too, unless you aren't local.

Yes, Digi..vomit blood +1.
Maxis has the best network in my hone location.
Celcom is taking the 2nd place.
Unifi mobile as 3rd.

To me, Digi stability is the worst.

We have blood-vomitting people who still insist on being Digi subscribers. Must be suckers for punishment.

But seriously being the largest telco they should double the effort to improve their network. Imagine by offering those cheap package everyone port in, and there are congestions here and there, it doesn't make sense. Luckily in my place Digi still ok.

laugh.gif That savage reply.

Luckily my areas have good coverage for all major 4 telcos. However, hate to say this Digi performs the best for me and with best value. Maxis is equally good too but costly, I can get about same Digi's 130Mbps speed with Maxis, just the pricing and it has no unlimited package. I was using Maxis Unlimited package from 2009-2013 by the way.

Then, Celcom and UniFi Mobile fetch around 40-45Mbps, comparing to Maxis and Digi, they are still far behind but decent speed.

Lastly, U Mobile is around 60Mbps but it's very slow in my hometown and I had bad experience with its roaming service in India, so no point keeping this useless telco.

I also have UniFi and Maxis fiber port available in my PJ house, I was using UniFi broadband all these years until Digi Infinite came last year, I relocated it back to sister's house because I always travel and require something portable.

Every telco has happy and unhappy users, just choose whichever suits you the best.

Please don't use the word "insist", just say people "are using" because of contract.
I truly thanks to MCMC, I got an early contract termination, I ported-out already, and no longer vomiting-blood smile.gif

Agreed with you, that's one reason Digi excels other telcos, and its FREE monthly RLH is good.
Digi would suddenly offer something in the middle of the month without requested (e.g 2gb for a month), the best thing I received was RM10x12 rebate suddenly. Recently, I got 10gb/month for remaining on the same plan as loyalty rewards (useless for slow network and ported-out).
Previously Maxis user, I never got any offer, don't know if it changed or not now.

Owned this MiFi before, good choice if want portability. For me, I can live with the bigger size of Huawei B618 so I sold this MiFi. B618 pulls signal better than M1. M1 still loses a bit in this aspect.

It's the antenna being used, although on paper M1 is more impressive. Somehow real test proves otherwise, other M1 users also share the same sentiments.

guys, for digi roaming in china, are we able to get 3G and LTE?

i was searching on their website and i saw this note.

Important notes in Roaming Country
China - Due to an incompatibility issue between 3G/4G bands of China Mobile and mobile devices available in Malaysia, you may not be able to connect to 3G and 4G/LTE on China Mobile. Kindly select 2G/GSM in your phone settings
