So in other words, its considered as your policy to take a pic of the front and that's it?

I.e. The front looks okay but the back scratched to hell and/or not functioning.

You're considered as a bad seller for not being more forthcoming about the condition of the phone.

alright.. i think we've bashed the seller quite a lot here. Both sides are in the wrong. The seller for not packing the items correctly and the buyer for agreeing to shipping without personal warranty (ok so he didn't say he agrees, but buy banking in the money its counted as he agrees). Now we should try to find a way to solve this.

Maybe the buyer can get a quotation on how much it would cost to repair the phone, then each side pays half?

ok...find it ALSO MY FAULT..BANK IN THE MONEY,so the seller agree to send and me as the BUYER agree the TERMS AND CONDITITON(without personal warranty)

he said the problem might be due DROP the PHONE...and i assume its happen when POSLAJU sending it to me...

on what he said the RANGE PRICE to fix this problem is RM60-rm80...

so now,its up to you SELLER..if u as the rensponsible seller in this forum, as what zx12 said...each side pays half so, i would consider on what he said...ITS YOUR FAULT AND ALSO MY FAULT...u pay RM35 and from my pocket money RM35...

the phone is reach to him and i dont know either is got dropped or not.. already said no warranty but still pay for the repair cost? wats the different between no warranty and warranty?

just now the one who mentioned with chocolate thing.
food is food. this is item! now think before u say. the item u bought from supermarket is no warranty item and u take back and use. after few days, its broken and u go to supermarket ask for claim? No warranty isue!

miss..its your word against his.. can you prove that the phone was working fine before you sent it to him? same as he can't prove that purposely sent him a faulty phone. In one of your post, you agreed that you didn't not pack the item properly (quoted below).

So, like I said before, both sides are in the wrong. That is why you shouldn't have to pay the full repair cost, and neither should he. If you ask me, i believe he has made a very reasonable offer. Its not a big amount to pay to maintain your reputation as a good and responsible seller here at LYN. This is just my suggestion. What you do is up to you.

but TS, the main problem might came from ur packaging..
means the buyer received the phone that is already faulty..
so u r responsible for this..
and its ur own fault not showing the most scratch part even the buyer didnt ask for it (for me, it seems u were hiding that spot)

so i think this might be a solution;
1 - full refund
2 - share the repair cost

you opened this thread asking for people's opinion. A lot of us think that it's due to shipping mishap. I say this again, hopefully for the last time. You have done wrong because you did not pack the item properly. The buyer has done wrong because he agreed to a no warranty condition, but the item is dead on arrival. Hence, both of you should bear the repair costs.

I don't think I can make it any clearer.

but it seems like u wanna settle this on ur own way..
well, thats up to u, but its not fair to the buyer..

since the buyer already asked for a shared repair cost, why dun u juz accept it?

or another option is, if u really think u were telling the truth about the phone was in a good condition before posted it, then i would like to see the photos of it..i mean photos before u send it..
