QUOTE(daimGeno @ Jul 19 2018, 12:01 PM) check from here is it? Should be - if the infrastructure is capable of handling that. Although TM may need to swap the ONU (modem) for free if it cannot support that speed https://unifi.com.my/turbo-upgrade/index.html not available now. so from 100mb to 800mb if eligible? now im paying rm199 |

Just made a call to TM's support - it appears there is a network upgrade on a majority of states from 19th July to 23rd July.

QUOTE(wilson1stop @ Jul 20 2018, 01:01 AM) I don't know for sure but I have a feeling they are busy doing a lot of upgrades to prepare for the new speed upgrade Anyway, my upgrade email seems to be somewhat lost in transit - let's just hope that they'll send one to me ASAP |

While I do understand your dissatisfaction against TM about the whole upgrading exercise, you must remember that they are essentially working within their policy when it comes to changing your service. Most ISPs (or telco services) here are not allowed to change one's customer subscription unless a service order can be issued and that service order can be made if the customer gave consent to the telco for that The reason why they need a service order for that is to prevent potential fraud and is used as some kind of an agreement, that the subscriber has authorized TM to modify your subscription. Also the service order can be sent to other departments such as the technical department so that the technical team can use that to check what speeds they can upgrade to, based on the customer location. It's not that we haven't done this before - remember the Thank You Surprise? It was a relatively undramatic upgrade campaign, and most people here got the email as soon as they signed up for the upgrade at the website. Their servers didn't went down, and despite the fact some people got the upgrade quite late, it was not exactly a hugely messy campaign Not to be judgmental here, but your vitriol towards TM is not going to magically make them a lovable, great ISP |

QUOTE(y561994 @ Jul 20 2018, 12:59 PM) I think i saw somewhere that unifi advanced plan (30 and 50Mbps) get 100M up while unifi pro plan get 200M up? According to Xefron : UniFi Pro - 800/200 UniFi Advanced - Either 300/100 or 500/100 Not too sure about the lite plan, although the 100Mbps download speeds is pretty much confirmed |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 20 2018, 01:40 PM) Also according to TM's livechat, they are sending out emails to those who are eligible, during the time period 19th July to 15th August. Then the upgrade will commence on the 18th August |

QUOTE(wilson1stop @ Jul 20 2018, 01:42 PM) Got LEGIT sources to prove it? Since TM not even disclosed details yet, not even inside email... In a series of examples, TM says that existing users on the Unifi 30Mbps plan will be upgraded to 300Mbps, 50Mbps will be upgraded to 500Mbps and subscribers on the Unifi 100Mbps plan will be upgraded to 800Mbps. TM also revealed that the 800Mbps plan would have upload speeds of up to 200Mbps. Also, if you’re a subscriber of a Unifi plan that’s below 20Mbps, you will be upgraded to 100Mbps.Or just you guys self-happy said said it only? (been MANIPULATED by TM staffs?)
